Well the Banshees are on smurfy! What do are you guys planning on doing??

Here are my thoughts:

3E: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...03dee0d78055f26

3M: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...8a51affe6ce7795

3S: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...13f930d904bc918

Probably will get La Malinche instead of the 3M...

Edit: Yeah they all get pretty toasty :)

The M is for Meta...

You can replace the mpls with another heatsink in the left arm if you're inclined...

No joke... you might want to consider upgrading to double heat sinks to free up some tonnage for additional NARC and Machine Gun ammunition though.

What I came up with for the three... how well they will work, I wouldn't know till I tested them.

3E: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...93ade10a3cc1f63
Designed to work as a close in mauler. With the pulse lasers and the MGs to open and take sections from an opponent. Med lasers are mostly back up, but share similar ranges. You also will always have weapons, with the head weapon.

3M: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...11334ee5177f01c
Large lasers (placement dependent) are for long range engagements. Med lasers are for close in punching power. 6 of them should be good enough for that. Can always use large lasers with the med ones for a final kick if you need to.

3S: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...7b8cb758cfc902b
Large lasers and AC5 share similar ranges with the TAG system. Use the LRMs to support while out of line of sight, and to do some serious harm when you do have direct fire with your lasers/AC/TAG... Looks like it should run fairly cool if you don't use the LRMs when you are hot. Once more, can only tell by playing...

Don't know if I'm going to bother with the Banshee... I'm not much for an Assault pilot...

While the Victor, to me, feels like a giant SHD, I suspect these will feel like big Centurions. Lots of zombies running around.

I call this variant the HugBot. Give your team a hug today! Mind the primitive reactive armor, as it's a bit unstable.

Don't do this, it's a bad idea.

This is my build I've slapped together. Completely experimental, but I think it'll do quite well as a brawler.

It's an odd mech..

The ballistic heavy one looks very dangerous - heavy dakka on an assault chassis, even without jump jets, is rather scary.

The mixed build (missiles, etc.) look reasonable, I guess.

The all energy one looks painful... Ugh... I can't help but think one should stick a TAG on there just for extra cbills and XP since I doubt anyone is going to keep that Banshee anyway... It looks like it's the horrid version that folks need to level up - same problems as the Awesome 8Q, though I'd love to be proven wrong about that.

BNC-3E

AC/2 + AC/5 has been my favorite ballistic combination for quite a while now. It really shreds armor like nobody's business, and it keeps their cockpit shaking. I've used it in Dragons, Atlai and Jagermechs and had fantastic results in all of them... especially the Jagermech.

Anyway, this thing is going to be a zombie monstrosity. I use a trackball with 2 buttons on each side (button 4 is difficult to operate because it's too high, so I only use it for situational weapons like LRMs) and I already know exactly how I'm going to lay out the triggers. Button 1: AC/5s on chainfire. Button 2: MLs on chain fire. Button 3: AC/2s on group fire.

This thing is just straight-up dirty.
