Phew, busy busy busy, but I'm getting back into outreach/recruitment activities. So here goes:
The MarineMechs are a small-medium sized mercenary unit that focuses on having fun, improving your pilot skills, and playing as a team. We welcome both
competitive and
casual players, and
all skill levels are welcome to join! We offer a drama-free adult environment, with decisions made through the use of an Admin panel, rather than a single unit leader.
You'll find we're most active 8-12 PM EST, with weekly practices for those interested. We also hold occasional training sessions that focus on fundamentals such as torso-twisting, good map movement and knowledge, assaults-vs-lights training, and the ever popular, Solaris 1v1 training (yes, it's exactly what you think it is).
If you're interested in making a name for yourself in the competitive scene, you'll find you're not alone in the MarineMechs. Our tournament team has played in RHoD, and more recently has played two seasons in the MRBC league, capturing the NA Division D and NA Division C titles. The MarineMechs also swept the first-ever A.C.E.S. invitational tournament, a community run event featuring some of the lesser-known competitive teams. We are looking forward to our challenge of playing in MRBC NA Division B next season, as well as participating in the upcoming MLMW (Major League Mechwarrior) tournament. If you want to make a name for yourself in the competitive scene, you'll fit in with us.
