Have now finished the model, and have it textured and rigged. Might make the cockpit inside, not sure yet. More renders of the textured thor in a post below.

Looks great, but compared to the 2d art, the legs are too long or the hips not wide enough.

the Summoner is supposed to tower over most mechs iirc... yea I think its supposed to be kind of tall!

It's the hips, I believe. The Summoner's legs are usually supposed to look pretty long compared to the torso, as displayed in the TRO Illustration:

Not sure if it's too late for any model adjustments, but widening the hips and adding some length to the right arm would make this model quite spot-on. That's not to say I dislike what you have so far. It's actually quite stunning in its current state!

Another small problem is that the CT is too long compared to the arms. The "elbow" joints should reach down to the hips.

Yeah, that's already a lot better!

Another minor detail is that in your version, the hip is higher than the end of the legs. I think in the MWO 2d art, it only looks like that because of perspective and because of the way the hip is protruding. It should probably be level with the end of the legs.
