Smoke Adders are conducting Trials of Position for Blooding and for Star Commander Billets that night. I am sure once those are complete, you will see some of us drifting up for some proper Zell-based duels

The initial first draft of the Cluster wars rules have been published in the Dark Born Section of the Council forums for review by the clans.

Still a few things to finalise with it but thought it more useful to open it up now as a working document for player commentary. Please can you offer feedback on the council forums.

Random idea:

Once the Clan mechs hit, it would be nice if we can put together a Clan community video. Get the clan mechs painted up in our Clan colors. Get a camera mech to film it, and put together a proper video. Represent all the active Clans, get some exposure, and get to invading.

Clan Wolverine will be available to join any activities once our ranks are replenished. Waiting to open hall on Grand Council website.

We have at this point successfully completed three Trials of Bloodright and several Trials of Position.

Several members of Clan Wolverine have held Bloodnames since the 90's in earlier MechWarrior games.

Also among us is former ilKhan Wraith Mandaka from the MechReg leagues in MW4. I believe he held the position for two years in that specific league.

YES! A Clan propaganda campaign to further the vision of the Father and Great Father...I can absolutely contribute resources to this...by the time Operation Revival launches, we should be able to contribute at least a cluster to this effort.

Fortunately, it would, at most, require two or three pilots per Clan. Well, max of five if we want to show off a Star. A small contribution, a shared vision for the video, and time is all that is required.

11 IS mechs 'corpses' on the ground all in a single area with the same colour scheme, Lyran. Last mech limping along, shooting towards the camera. CGauss or CERPPC slams in to lone IS mech and takes him out. 5 Clan chassis in Jade Falcon colours, 2 smoking, all visibly damaged walk past the camera, torso twisting to notice threats. Fade out

Star of Wolf medium and heavy blasting away at IS Lyran Assault lance. Single lone Wolf pilot left walks unfiring until a light wolf pilot gets taken out, the left over pilot engages. Camera pans along the battlefield.

Star of light Ghost Bears engaging a company of heavy and assault FRR troops. Initial contact. Bear forces firing on individual IS pilots while the IS forces using two-three mechs to a single Clan pilot. Two Warhawks and a Summoner come from around the bend to surprise the flank of FRR

Smoke Jaguar forces Star of Dire Wolves and Warhawks pounding against a Company of Heavy and Assaults, Kurita Middle of fights with multiple IS mechs going down, and a single Dire Wolf going down. Second star of stormcrows slams in to the flank of Kurita.

Something is written in between each Clans shot. Something about the Clan, a passage of the rememberance... not sure yet.

Show a fade in and out then pan of a Trinary worth of each Clan per scene. CJF, CW, CGB and CSJ in order. CJF is running towards something in formation. Clan Wolf is standing, attentinve. CGB is walking in formation and CSJ is firing off weapons towards the camera at things off screen.

Words about honor and zellbrigen.
Demonstrating Clan Zell fighting. Single duels between warriors, group zell fights Clan vs Clan, inter star vs star.

Duel of Trial of Bloodright while talking about it, bloodnames and the descendents of Kerensky. Comment of Grand Melee in at a point, with a starting of a grand melee, 15+ Warriors all running in towards a crater or something similar.

Ending with more shots of Clan group action shots?

Or, say....

Timber Wolf in Wolf colors stalking through canyon network, runs across a damaged fellow Timber Wolf beset upon by a badly damaged Jade Falcon Summoner. Blasts the Summoner to bits. Second Summoner appears, finishes off the damaged Timber Wolf. Split screen zoom on Summoner Cockpit and Timber Wolf cockpit.

Alpha Galaxy Smoke Jaguar Stormcrow and Alpha Galaxy Nova Cat Nova walk into vision, seen from front below, on a platform in River City. They stop, and camera switches to directly behind both, with the ruined city beyond. Both mechs scanning the scene before looking at each other, recentering torsos, and splitting off to engage House Kurita mechs.

Free Raisonette Republic mech on patrol in Frozen City (day). Pauses and looks in a direction. Camera pans out a little. Ghost Bear mech runs or jumps into view, charging the FRR mech from behind a snow clump, tearing it limb from limb. Camera switch to pan up at the sky as the Ghost Bear mech walks past.


Gotta represent more than the big four, Coffi. This is for all of us.

Which means we need something for the Coyotes, Diamond Sharks, Star/Smoke Adders, and anyone else I forgot.

I suppose I could go to a used car dealership and record some transactions. That would cover the Diamond Sharks, quiaff?

A grand council video, Aff would be for all Clans. I am speaking of a op:Revival video made up during first week of Clan launch and put out the week after. . . That woukd be the Invading Clans... Wolf, Falcon, Bear, Jaguar, Viper, Cat and Shark.

YES!

My idea was to start with a Trial of Position for a pilot in say...a Timber Wolf, then move onto combat scenes showing Zellbrigen combat between Clans/IS, then perhaps a Trial of Bloodright scene, the last shot would be the Clans marching off toward a distant target.

Between the shots have some bit about clan lore and something of a personal narrative of a Clan Pilot to draw people into it...then in the end, pose a question..."What will you do for the legacy of Kerensky?" followed by, "The pages of your story remain to be written in the remembrance".

Their is no active steel viper unit on MWO right now so you'll probably have to paint your own mechs in steel viper colors
