Mechwarrior houses battle doctrine bonuses

It’s about time each house had its own battle doctrine
If a mech is assignable to a house/mercenary/clan (at same later date) it should get that house’s/faction’s/mercenary’s/clan’s bonus

Lets start with the Houses
What are each house best known attributes?

HOUSE KURITA
Battle doctrine (code of bushido), recommended bonus (killing blow)

HOUSE LIAO
Battle doctrine (duty to the state), recommended bonus (resilient)

HOUSE MARIK
Battle doctrine (war profiteering), recommended bonus (prototype)

HOUSE STEINER
Battle doctrine (industrial mechanized warfare), recommended bonus (blitzkrieg)

FREE RASALHAGUE REPUBLIC
Battle doctrine (Insurgency & rebellion), recommended bonus (frenzy)

HOUSE DAVION
Battle doctrine (marshal tradition), recommended bonus (professional military)

Merc corps
Battle doctrine (to the highest bidder), recommended bonus (disposable)

Lone wolf
Battle doctrine (wanderer), recommended bonus (vendetta)

So what would these bonuses look like on the Awesome 8Q for example?
Lets presume that the Awesome will get a chassis bonus of (no PPC overload heat & 20% damage reduction on PPC hitting the mech) in its master unlock +one chosen house bonus.

HOUSE KURITA (+1 damage per ER/PPC when over 50% heat)
HOUSE LIAO (+10% damage reduction on ER/PPC hitting the mech)
HOUSE MARIK (x2 ER/PPC range extension, or coolant flush)
HOUSE STEINER (-1heat on ER/PPC when moving over 50% speed)
FREE RASALHAGUE REPUBLIC (-25% reload time to ER/PPC when over 50% heat)
HOUSE DAVION (ER/PPC hits count as TAG hits as well)

If there is (in the future) a house tech/progress/pilot tree than the bonuses would only become available when the Awesome branch is unlocked. Note some houses may not use some mech types or have so few or some mechs may not comply with their battle doctrine and so have no unlockable branch on that houses tree.

If you think these battle doctrine bonuses should be different please post below.

Why ER/PPCs? If anything, the bonuses should be more exp for "x" amount of kills/damage/stuff destroyed or more C-bills for "x." Perhaps easier tweaks(Less exp for house mechs basic skills or elite skills). None of this bias in favor for PPCs.

I believe that the OP was just using ER PPCs as an example. Any, something similar to what you are suggesting will most likely be introduced slowly as modules.

I really like the idea to make some faction based qwerks.
Hopefully there will be something similar in the CW.

I presume that each house will maximise each of the very specialized mechs in line with its own battle doctrine.

Awesome 8Q is well known as the most specialist PPC platform, so I would presume that each house would max it out to their PPC needs.

The Spider 5V with its two center torso energy points and 12 jump jets would I presume be maxed out by each house, for their jump jetting needs. Lets presume that the Spider will get a chassis bonus of (+10% jump-jet speed and power) in its master unlock +one chosen house bonus.

HOUSE KURITA (counts as having one extra jump jet while over 50% heat)
HOUSE LIAO (-50% damage to legs when landing)
HOUSE MARIK (one jump jet will always recharge, when not in use, even while in the air)
HOUSE STEINER (-1heat to total while alpha firing while under jump jet power)
FREE RASALHAGUE REPUBLIC (+25% jump jet recharge rate while over 50% heat)
HOUSE DAVION (+25% forward motion & turning speed while jumping)

But I do agree that each house could have a general skill that applies to all mechs allocated (at some later date) to that houses arsenal.

I don't know about the specifics you layed out but I really like the general idea. Making house allegiance more than a cosmetic choice would be great!

They could take things further, every facet of the game could have special things available only to members of a faction (lone wolf included of course) and if you switch factions you lose access to those. Special house paint colors and patterns, cockpit items, even a special mech that is only available to members of that House/Clan would be interesting.

Maybe even choose the standard workhorse weapon (medium laser) and have each faction's medium lasers manufactured by a lore specific manufacturer and give each medium laser its own flavor with SLIGHT variations in the stats.

Y'know. Immersion stuff.
