Blue Serpent Arises
The Ancient Red shackles broken
We Will Remain Free

Blue free, a red gift
The dragon shed its own blood
for serpents freedom

The Fox once tried to make us woo
With his preposterous haiku
The Dragon raised his brow
Ready to stop the show
And said: STFU

There once was a MechWarrior from Nantucket... :P

(According to Flight of the Falcon, Nantucket is a city on the planet Zebebelgenubi, and is the location of the primary spaceport.)

Poetry Without
Clear Pattern or Smooth Grace
Only Grating Noise

I am ashamed! As now I see
Your verses truly are OP
In my defense, I only wanted
To put some vigor in topic's content
Regardless of my poet skills

Haiku is simple
just say your story, thought,
in five seven five

it could be worse yet
Norse prefer skaldic kennings
every line a puzzle

Well it's not haiku, and it's definitely not making it past the language filters, but I'll give you credit for humor. ^_^

Now you have me wanting to try skaldic kennings. I'm going to have to think about this...

Hmm, let's try this:

Long after the Spear-din has quieted, I sit upon a swan of blood, caked with the battle-sweat of those flame-farewelled. Before me lies a feeder of ravens, riding a slayer of giants, as fair as Sif's hair. who would fear bane of wood or the sleep of the sword when their minds' worth is challenged?

A haiku is 5/7/5. Your attempt is 5/5/9. Your failure has been noted.
