"Any other Quirks will be determined closer to the ship date, when we can test and tune them to make the UrbanMech a fun (and viable) experience. "

I predict various durability and agility quirks, since it will probably be, the slowest light mech.

Lord Urbie is neither too slow, or too fast. He arrives exactly when he is needed.

I presume you mean "pew pew BOOM". As the Lord doth have both the lasers to sear evil and treachery from those untouched by his glory, and the autocannon to rid the universe from those who resist his teachings.

You are a bit too good at that...

Hmm, where is the energy hardpoint for the UM-R63's pulse laser gonna be?

We talking like a hip-shot height, or arm height?

I saw that too! That's pretty cool if it is a nod to IH!

Quoting myself here. So dug up the post which gives this thought more credit:

Look at the post from Paul here. FD was loving it apparently as well.

Pretty cool that FD (if that's who did this mech) tipped his hat here to a community user!

I think they will make the max speed of the Urbie at least 81kph so that it's not a sitting target every match. Any slower than that and it will be rather difficult to enjoy.

Hey!
I've noticed how passionate everyone seems to be about the Urbanmech...

So I thought I'd share something with you!

i've done fine with my std 100 engine 54kph spider urbie. just hide among the big mechs and you're fine. even managed to successfully hide behind dead mechs to protect me from enemy fire a few times :) if urbie is smaller than the spider then it's even easier to miss.

I am probably going to keep mine at a humble 32 kph personally. 81 kph is too fast =p

Because dead mechs aren't actually solid objects? You can hide IN dead mechs. I have done this in my locust.

"Super stock" would be a STD 60, not STD 100.

I thought "super stock" was like stock +1, like when my stock COM-1D gets an LRM 5 and STD 170
