Sometimes even the glory that is the Urbie can't make you carry hard enough:

On a side note, can't believe I haven't seen unit [STFU] before now. Might be time to create unit [RTFM].

FINE PGI!

I finally bought that URBIE i always wanted so much from my hard earned MC´s (thanks halloween & xmas & other events) and oh boy is it fun!! No regrets! You can go ahead now and release it for C-Bills on Steam Day lol

Q: Does Twist X on Urbanmech give 396° rotation? :o

Beware the power of the Urbie's AC. This round I pinned down a Thunderbolt and Direwolf that were trying to snipe my team from the top of a ridge. . .with 1 AC5. I don't know why they kept hiding from me, but I got them both eventually :D

Great thing about the Urbie. Is that it is usually underestimated. So people will ignore you. :)

By whom? In my direwhale, I view those as easy prey to my dual guass. They fold like a lawnchair, so I'll pop them whenever they show up on my screen.

The wise pilot goes for the almighty Urbie first! Or is it just an easy kill? :P

saw a true case of "urbie fear" yesterday. just messing around with my ac10 2ML 59kph urbie in the mining factory or whatever it's called these days. was plodding along taking shots when I could. got a killshot when I followed a couple flankers to kill some heavy. LRMs naturally fired at me and not the other two flankers before i broke LoS

saw the base being captured message and since this was a PUG figured no on else was going to RTB so I waddled over. along the way ran into a Jager fighting near the overpass with a friendly and discovered he was the LRM mech who fortunately didn't see me til I got inside of 200m but he shot them anyway. started shooting he went into the overpass where he ran into another friendly. I lumbered over and started shooting at him, he turned away from the friendly and started shooting at me. friendly kills him.

as I reach the ramp to the base I see three friendlies attacking a dire whale. I stay at range and start taking potshots with the AC10. add the lasers and an arm comes off. now the whale sees me, and despite having three other mechs all swarming around him he decides the urbie is what he must shoot at. clearly the impeding doom about to descend on him made him feel the lightly damaged urbie was the true threat and had to be take out at all costs. my CT turns orange but since he was still bein shot at by everyone my return salvo took out the mighty whale who so rightly feared me in the end for kill #2 and another sacred urbie kill dance.

now I waddle up to the base where two friendlies and 3 enemy are tearing each other apart. after one alpha enemy #1 turns away from who he's fighting with a nice red CT and goes after me. expecting the barrage I go my arm between my CT and his shot. spin back quick for a CT alpha and sacred kill dance #3. go around one side of the mobile platform to where enemy #2 is fleeing from a friendly, hit the JGs and do a spin shot thing and kill him for urbie kill dance #4. unfortunately at this point the dual erppc kitfox that was fleeing from the other side of the mobile platform chose to come around the corner while my back will mostly towards it and before I could spin to sacrifice the arm I was dead. I watched it promptly explode before I could go spectate anyone.

was 11-7 at this point and we win 12-7. urbie 4 kills 5 assists and 450 dmg.

basically everyone stopped what they were doing to go after the urbie....

Welcome to the horde. Make no mistake, this little can of doom can bag a wallop, and wreck entire lances when piloted, and built right.

Even thoe our team lost, My little AC20 barrel was melting down. All I have done is add endo-steal to add another 1.5 tons of ammo.

It's been 11 months since The Announcement.

Urbie has now arrived for c-bills.

Time to start rabble-rousing for the Hero, Champion, and even the IIC? :D
