I know folks want Deputy Dawg.

If you were building a champion loadout to go with DD in a Mastery Bundle, what would you put out there?

The best-optimized loadout in current laser meta looks something like this: http://goo.gl/YSjh1t. It also happens to be pretty effective in general.

What would you do?

Okay, I made a poll for the next round of Champion mechs here.

While I'm sure Urbanites will have an opinion in the "IS Lights" category, I'd like opinions on the others too, if you could be troubled to do so ;)

And here I thought the proper term was 'Urbanist'.

Urbanites worship their Urbies.

Urbanists just recognize their uses and utilize them as such.

I sometimes debate buying some, just to do goofy things with them.

you mean people do un-goofy things with them?

today's urbie story: river city (ugh) in my boomurbie (ac20 w/3 tons and a SL in a std 100). dropped on the port side of the map- jogged around, saw a flanking lance heading to the bridge, jogged behind them slowly catching up when they stopped to fight., took the subway to get the inside track on the flanking team. we're up 2-0 at this point- I haven't fired a weapon yet.

finally get to the other side of the map, shoot a blackjack a time or two, it dies to someone else. distorso a hunchy trying to run the gauntlet. someone else kills the stick. see a jager in the water turning back (both teams have switched sides at this point) and exchanging fire with a friendly crow. hit it a couple times and it retreats. see a somewhat damaged timber in the water- take a shot or two, he shoots back (meanie!) I run away and go up the ramp while crow keeps him busy. see the CT is nice shade of red by the time I get there- boom ac20 dead timby and do the sacred urbie kill dance. he comments "LOL" in chat afterwards.

now we're up 9-6. last three fighting around the water cap point area. I hop into the water where a battlemaster is ducking from LRMs. urbie attacks, boom ac20. he looks around for something besides the urbie. boom another ac20. he realizes it's the urbie and shoots back but he backed away into the open where LRMs start shooting him and the friendly crow is coming up around me. boom another ac20/sl as i'm right in front of him. he shoots, boom another ac20/sl. lrms take out an arm, CT is red. boom it finally dies. sacred urbie kill dance commences.

all that's left is a wolfhound that doesn't see me. sneak up behind it- boom ac20 to the back- yellow RT- he moves forward slightly. then the crow finished it off before I could fire my last ac20 round at it to get the kill.

final tally- 2 kill (timby/battlemaster), 4 assist and 302 damage. (actually may have been 3 assists- think blackjack died just before I could shoot now that I think of it)
