That being said, I did get to do a bit over the last few days. I hope to complete the first Brethren Commercial by the weekend. I'll post it up here when done. We had a lot of fun shooting scenes for it via Private Lobbies!
We also had some good rounds tonight. We took our 12s up against the likes of The 228, SRoT, and HHoD. I'd like to say that we ROFLStomped the snot out of all of them, but that wouldn't be true. At all.
I can say that we beat The HHoD though. Watch for that vid to go up soon!

What's worth noting about that match, is that one of our players was disconnected and unable to rejoin. He was also our King Crab pilot. We fought with one pilot and Assault Mech down and still pulled out a 12-6 win.
The next video is from a random pug group drop we did. I think Hardkor called the op; I can't recall now whose drop it was exactly. Anyways, our close range fighters got outmatched by the long range snipers and we lost. At the end, there was a neat little scene where the enemy team tried to kill me.
And so I give you the minute and a half video, "What It Takes to Kill Me":
Enjoy!

I was a pogo stick for the second half of the match but still managed to do a good bit of damage. Even after getting disarmed at the very end, I was able to lay down an arty and score a few more hits. Never count me out until your standing over my corpse!

BerserX and I were also getting our kicks in on PGI's MC Challenge! We were randomly dropped into a group match with Dalen and his Templars. We really kicked butt!

The Dash and Bash is a fusion of speed, skill, Mech Construction, and tactical sense.
Speed: Fast Mechs make for faster clear times.
Skill: Your skill can determine the speed with which you kill those Mechs. Can you manage the heat? Can you get those headshots?
Construction: Do you go for power, speed, range, heat, or do you try to mix and match? Caustic Valley is a tough map that forces you to pick a good compromise from these.
Tactical Sense: What route will you choose? Will you choose to stand off and snipe or run up and fire point blank?
Dash tests each pilot's ability to plan and to make snap judgments. It tests their accuracy and heat management. It tests their Mech designs, and it pushes each pilot to the max of his/her abilities!
The Bash is the second half of the event. The top ten pilots from each Dash Weight Class (Lights through Assaults) get invited to a special, Free-for-all Brawl. While Dash is more weighted towards pilot speed and precision, Bash tests a pilot's mettle, a pilot's ability to keep cool under fire, and a pilot's ability to manage heat and avoiding shutting down in the middle of a firefight.
We are the Brethren and we are Dash and Bash pilots. We will sharpen each other as iron sharpen irons.
