Says the GM of the Houston Rockets and Pro Player Jeremy Lin, who is a Dota 2 player and says its a way of life.

He plays Dota 2 too? Dayum!

Anyway, in all seriousness, I do tend to agree that some games are very much sports-like. Except they involve less physical sturdiness and more brainpower.

If it involves any mental and physical coordination its a sport.

pro gamers cant even sort their shit out to train together on a daily bases. ever seen the streamers of LOL? they can stream like 10+ hours daily and live together but they cant even put in like 2 hours of practice a day.

Who are you referring to? streamers of lol? what?

The GM of the Houston Rockets, said in the future, video games will be more popular and respected then athletic sports.....

if they shape up and act like professionals then, sure there is a good chance that can happen.

for now "pro gamer" are nothing more then just really good players. they maybe able to make a buck or two but i have yet to see any act and train as "pros" do.

lol teams is probably the biggest thing in eports right now, so yeh im talking about LOL.

Well it takes fans that would respect it as a pro game first.


As it is, people don't even respect the games they play themselves, which is the core of the problem.
