I still carry emotional scars from this

PUSH!- usually a sign an individual has grown bored with the sniping and LRMing around him and is about to die horribly trying to break the stalemate in the hopes that the rest of his team will support him. after dying 30 seconds to a minute later the mechwarrior will find the rest of his team exactly where they were before he called for the "push"

PUSH!... not just that, but also a signal that the team has stalled in the doorway to an area like the Basement, the Saddle or PUG Zapper, and is just dying because they're too chicken to go in, and not smart enough to fall back and flip the tactical advantage of that choke point around to their advantage. Often used in context of "PUSH OR WE WILL LOSE!"

RTB!: A cry given when someone on the team realizes base is being captured and is promptly ignored by 75% of all teammates, while the remaining surviving 25% trickle back to die one by one instead of grouping to get max effect and help each other.

Murderball also known as Arty/Air Strike magnet. If a good light pilot sees this mess then he will 99% of the time drop arty or air on it then run away while he is laughing like an insane man. If he has a friend in a Spider then it is Squirrel Time! Good times if you are not in the Murderball. If you are in this mess then it's time to die.

"Kill them" One of only two correct responses you can give if someone asks what the team plan is.
"Don't die" The other correct response.

You forgot:

The Crows Nest - Spot in Frozen City beyond the nose of the ship, there's a little dipped in area with cover.

Company Commander - That guy who clicked the Company Commander button and than ran off by himself without saying a word. Occasionally will issue nonsensical orders first.

Leroy Jenkins - Guy who ran off towards the enemy. Occasionally he might say something like "let's push the enemy" first.

Unit Leader - A Leroy Jenkins that people follow.

We used the name for a group of Ravens... A Murder.

Before that we had A Bruce of Jenners.

Painbow - A mech configuration that "boats" 5+ LRM-5s and chain fires them creating a rainbow of pain. See also Lurmpocolypse III . May also be accomplished by placing a LRM 15 in a "Narc Tube Launcher" causing it to fire one missile at a time.

Very well written!!

I laughed so hard I almost pissed myself... during the act of holding back said piss I farted instead... you get kudos for causing that!

If this is all yours, may I have your permission to quote that entire list elsewhere?

You're thinking of crows. Crows come in murders, but a group of ravens is called an "unkindness". Seriously. That's what its called. An unkindness of Ravens. A "conspiracy" of Ravens is also valid.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread. +1.

This is something I still struggle with. Sometimes they follow and everything is beautiful and sometimes I just die worthlessly.
