I got very low textures on my mechs in mechlab. My settings are set to "very high". In the game it looks all normal, but no chance to watch camo in mechlab :)

Any ideas what causes this? It used to look normal in UI 1.0?

This doesn't seem right at all for Very High graphics settings... Is there a chance that you may have any custom settings that are turned down to Low?

If not, I would try the repair tool to see if there is anything wrong with your MWO installation.

I made extra sure its all set to very high. Also no config file edit. The textures on the mechs look all like on very low.

Run the repair tool, didn't help. Multiple restarts also not.

Maybe its because i am running windows 8.1? Can't imagine this though.
Very strange. The textures on the background are more detailed than the mech ...

Very strange indeed... I'm running Windows 8.1 as well, and I'm having no such problems, so at least we can eliminate that as a possible problem source in this case.

Maybe someone else here on the forum has similar experiences and can help you, but if you haven't done so already I'd recommend sending an E-mail to support as well.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

Found the solution: I had Catalyst A.I. activated in my AMD Driver menu. Deactivating turned everything to normal
