There have been a lot of times I have been going on the testing ground trying to check out my mechs in action and I get this stupid bug regarding CONNECTING. It stays that way and you are forced to hit Alt-F4 to exit the grounds and having to relog to the game. For some reason its been an issue since.. the past 2 and half months as far as I know. I know other people are encountering this as well. I am surprised that this bug has not been addressed still.

I have been having the same issue. The testing ground is *playable* but the "Connecting" overlay remains visible the whole time, and when you hit "ESC" you can't click the "Quit Match" or "Exit Game" buttons (hence the need to kill the application).
It only started happening to me after the latest patch.

I managed once to quit the match by using keyb. arrows and enter, avoiding to quit the game. The bug seems to happen the first time (a day ?) training grounds are launched.

i think i reported this somewhere here in the forums, too.
Happens ~80% when...
- dropping in the training ground for the first time a day (like Crimson Fenris)
- testing a new mech for the first time (bought a few new ones recently-nearly everytime i had this annoying bug)
Sidenote: I´m allways testing on Caustic Valley for heat efficiency reasons.

I think it can be reproduce by going to mechlab.
Configure something on your mech. Checkout.
Go to Testing GRounds...
'Connecting'.....

I'm having the same issue. First time in I get the connecting overlay. If I bother to go back it usually works fine.
