Nice catch, Egomane - keep up the good work :)

Sure, some features that I liked and think adds to MWO from the videos were:
  • Repairs/Re-arm - No user interaction needed, just C-Bill deductions at Match Summary screen so you feel the "pinch" from damage or blowing up your 'Mech which off-sets with existing Salvage earnings on Victory (higher earnings) and loss on Defeat (less earnings)
  • Mini-map "wedge" - Represents your current zoom level, i.e. 1.0x is wide (90 degrees) and 3.0x is narrow (30 degrees)
  • dH/dt HUD indicator (reference) - For competitive play and 'Mech tweaking, and also so you know if you're being affected by ghost heat or if any of your heat sinks are malfunctioning
  • Dropships! - Either as mission objectives (destroy/defend), "respawn" representations ala drop pods in Planetside 2 (if you've not seen it; drops from orbit, slams on the ground, deploys/opens exposing player, and then sinks into the ground), or merely statics for bases in Assault game mode
  • Underwater map - This may sound silly, but if PGI has ever run out of ideas for map variety.. why not?
  • Inferno (S)SRM-2 - Causes sustained heat damage over 'x' seconds on top of normal damage
