New Bundles:
• Small C-Bill Bundle: 1,100,000 C-Bills for 800 MC
• Medium C-Bills Bundle: 2,400,000 C-Bills for 1600 MC
• Large C-Bills Bundle: 6,500,000 C-Bills for 4000 MC

^^^^ Meh... As someone who puts money in the game I am not going to buy it.

There is some good stuff in the patch notes. (Proverbial however incoming faster than the LRMs). PGI... you really need to start pushing out patches with real content. Providing 6 Phoenix mechs (only 2 of which are reasonably exciting (SHawks), some buff/nerfing of weapons, and bug fixes that frankly should not be there anyway after so long is not real progress. It is in fact uninspiring and not building any confidence in the player base.

I'm very frustrated about the changes to the AC's, especially the speed nerfs. Please consider reverting these changes and stop trying to overbalance weapons that are already fine. It seems like whichever weapon happens to be even moderately effective ends up getting nerfed. It's really sucking the fun out of this game.

Did it ever occur to you that this might be intentional? By nerfing every weapon that is working, PGI forces you and others to re-learn an aspect of the game you already mastered. I guess this is all we get instead of new content.

Most people aren't going to pay money for CBills, probably a small percentage of players who otherwise would have put a lot of extra time in. So yes, logically there could be something like a 0.1% dropoff in player activity. My previous point is there are other factors that are probably making up a much larger percentage of reduced activity. Simple big picture logic.

Not talking about all the Reasons for Activity - it is about what Impact MC for CBills will have on Activity. Not about what other Reasons there might be. You were reacting on my first Post and that was about what this latest Change will mean to the Game. You bring Stuff in here that got nothing to do with what I was talking about.

You talk about a small percentage of Players that pays real Money for this Game... So you got Facts that prove your Statement ? I don't think so. A big Part of this Community is 35 to 50 Years old. They spent a good Amount of Money on the Game and they will do so in the Future.

So your 0.01% will be more like 10 to 20 % reduced Activity... And that will hurt.

What? No! Why? Now the poor unguided things just disappeared into oblivion...

Alternatively, they may just continue on their arc and do damage. Hopefully they stop registering after 1000m, but thats not indicated in the notes. A dud flightpath after 1000m wouldn't be bad either.

Does anyone know what this means: "In Assault Mode, the turrets have no ballistic or missile weapon collision". Does this mean that turrets are currently impervious to ballistics and missiles, or does it mean that ballistics/missiles will pass through the turret, but still do damage to it?

I love the freaking about about tiny AC nerfs... like after all this time that is what's gonna ruin your ability to play :)

Good patch, nice to see lots of stuff fixed. Good call on the AC5 speed nerf. A lot of people have been asking for something like that and hopefully it'll mix some things up.

Looking forward to the day when SRMs work as they should, and it seems to be getting closer.

Was hoping for a QKD hero but I guess I'll have to wait a while longer! :P

So reducing the max Range on the AC2 from 2160 meters to 1440 meters is a tiny AC nerf ? :)

Okey then please reduce the SRM Range from 270 to lets say 180 meters ^^

Or the LRM Range from 1000 to 700

another mechs variants, another tweaks here and fixes there.
No enhancements of awful UI2, no new content. As usual for the last 1.5 year...

Not sure why the AC complaints, no one on has ever sat at 1700M and helped their team spamming, AC2 within 1000M yes it's great. Hopefully this messed with the PPC AC5 meta and cmon ACs were easy mode, I just looked at my stats and JM and Banshee that I had majority AC focus had a K:D of like 4 on them.

May I ask why long range AC/2 fire was nerfed ? It's not like the DPS was even near good at long range. It was annoying because of the impacts but thats about it.

Where is the new mech? Those variants are not new mechs. You said in the command chair post that there would be a new mech. What and where is it?

I stole it.

Its mine now.

the BLR-3M is a great mech with many flexible hardpoints.
The BMR-3S however......it needs something extra, like 2 AMS

I am enjoying them both. I now have 7 battlemaster mechs in my garage (BLR-1G'p', BLR-1G, 2 BLR-1D's, 1 BLR1s, and the 2 new variants)

yes yes

they are my....Precious!

Also all of them run STD engines! up yours, metabuilds!!!

Large C-Bills Bundle: 6,500,000 C-Bills for 4000 MC

this seem off to anyone else? 4000 MC buys a 10,000,000 cbill mech. I get there being some devaluation, but this seems a little severe.

I am glad that the AC 5 nerf does something to mitigate the last year of PPC/AC5 meta. Now we can have PPC/Gauss meta. The AC2 was one of the only weapons that can effectively counter meta build since it was effective beyond PPC max range. [redacted]

Does this mean that in the future I can spend some of my almost useless C-Bills to buy MC in the same fashion? So I could buy 4000MC with 6,500,000 C-Bills? If not I find this practice very unfair to those of us who grind for our c-bills in the F2P fashion and think it's outrageous only those who want to purchase MC with real money can buy the Hero mechs. I think we should be able to exchange our C-Bills for MC!

Yes

At that range you were doing at most 1 damage, probably less due to dropoff.

So yea

tiny nerf

is not a

big deal

im a fulltime gamer for 20years now and its not funny anymore watching devs "balancing" their games.
i fully understand the notion to bring ac2s and 5s more in line, but why let the cute child of the cleaningperson do it? where you mean to the cleaningperson?

there were 4 things about the ac2 that stud out:
1. high dps
2. high range
3. very hot
4. high weight

now reduce dps and range both by ~25% and you get a ac2 thats hot and heavy.... who came up with that?
now to get it back in line with the other ac´s you need to reduce the heat to .7 and the weight to 5.

now think about all the ac´s and what your trying to do. in bringing all the ac´s in line, you get very close to the "doesnt matter zone".
if all ac´s are perfectly balanced bigger or smaller versions of each other, you get to the point where it doesnt matter if i take 2 smaller ones or 1 bigger one.
yes they are balanced but not unique anymore.

i personaly dont realy use ac2´s but i am pissed about the 0.16s increase in ac5 reload time. and you know why?
because i loved the sound of 3 chainfireing ac5´s which is now ruined. i know in a powerplayers mind it doesnt make sense to chainfire them, but the sound was very cool and one of the few reasons i keep returning to mwo.

anyway, while you are at rebalancing stuff, please take a look at the cost for artys and stuff, could use a bump to 50-60k. its way overused atm.
