ECM is tempting as hell. I am thinking one of these two builds.

Raven 3L

Cicada 3M
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...de4afc68fbe63c5

Both are fast-ish, both are small and both have ECM. Now I just have to decide which one..

I see a lot of people suggesting shadowhawks, but for this build alone, the Cicada is worth it. While I dearly love my Ravens, you'll want to go with the Cicada for the PPCs; I run twin ER LLs in my Raven, but the added four tons for the PPCs vs LLs makes the Raven too slow for how fragile it is.

The upsides to the cicada are that it's fast, it has ECM, and people will underestimate you.

The downsides are that the Cicadas besides the 3M are awful. So if you want to use the sniper as a springboard to get a good line of mediums going, the Shadowhawk might be the way to go, since it's the best all-around medium. If you don't really care about having other mediums, or want to go fast, Cicada is the right choice. If you don't mind downgrading to large lasers, I have some Ravens you might like. :]

I've decided to go with the Cicada 3M. I can support with ECM or branch off on my own if the team already has one. Being able to snipe without worry of missiles falling on my head all damn day long > the rest. And it's the fastest option I can find as well.

how bout instead of ppc's - gauss cicada ;)

40 Gauss Ammo - 1 gauss - 120.3 kph - buttt with 4 points shaved off each leg and 1 point shaved off each torso

Do 118.1 kph for another half- tonn of armour or 113.6 kph for another tonn of ammo

lil ******* sniper with more range then ppc's and still able to shoot up close

I run a BJ-1 exact this way, max. engine, 3/4. jj, 2ppc for range, 2 Ml´s & 2 MG´s for knifefights oder heat dump, not to hot, good sustained dps. you can also drop a heatsink and a jumpjet for ams and a ton of ammo. works fine
