A few days ago I was talking with chaos585 about how many active FRR units are still with us.
And it seems as if it wasn´t that much of us left.

I would like to call a meeting for all the unitleaders of the remaining units that are affiliated with the FRR, House as well as Mercenaries. The goals of the whole thing would be to asses how many of us are left at the moment and start to organise us as a faction.

I have a few ideas I would like to discuss that would hopefully help us to strenghten our position inbetween the other successor states and the clans.

Just to point out, without CW there is no real "reason" to organize, other than to occasionally get drunk together and make idiots of ourselves.

Furthermore, depending on if we're ready to reveal it yet or not (lots of things in development atm, don't want to spoil the surprise)...we may have some epic stuff for you guys in the near future. Preferably once Private Lobbies come out.

Well, we'd probably only want one or two representatives from each outfit, preferably individuals who can speak for the outfit with some measure of authority. Hard to get much done if we're playing crowd control, or if the attendees keep saying, "I have to check with my boss".

What I am interestet in first, is how many units and how many people we actually are.
As far as I see it we probably will be the smallest of the successor states.
So my goal would be to start training together so that we can do with qualitiy what we can´t do with quantity.

Just haven't found any unit that would house my specialty very well.

Whats up with the diminishing FRR units? Poor hygene or nasty dispositions? Nobody wants to play with the Vikings anymore?

Too hard of a lifestyle for the most. Only the tough remain.

The Isengrim will most certainly try to have someone there as well, and depending on when it is held I personally would like to attend.

...I'd say it has more to do with no CW existing aside from the endless player-run tournys, but that's just me.

And I'm not referring to FRR inparticular, I think that generally goes for everyone.

As stated, I am not a member of any unit (officially). I also have no idea where on earth I'd belong in any of them.

But I'll fight to the tooth for the FRR.

It is unclear at least to me what you are trying to accomplish, because it is still unknown to us whether CW will be just a third page of the match results screen telling us that some front moved 3 LY, because of your succesful match.

Nevertheless, I'm confident without confirmation from our clan in announcing that www.aseveljet.net is basically interested in participating in any action that facilitates the interests of FRR. To this end, I would suggest you contact Cherewas Ondairn of our clan.

Are the goals you suggest discussing really so discreet that they cannot be discussed here at MWO forums?

No of course not, but I think that it would be nice just to talk to each other.
I probably know some people of the most units already, but wouldn´t it be nice to get to know each other a bit?

And a nice little chat is always better than some text on the forums where you need to wait hours for an answer.

Pardon if my attitude seemed sceptical. All I can say is that you are entirely correct in assuming talking is good and I applaud your initiative on communication among MWO community.

Regarding chat among FRR or MWO community in general, what do you think of www.mwolobby.com? Could that serve as a medium to our goals?

I think it depends on how private matches will exactly look like.
But I didn´t really engaged with it yet.
Since we probably won´t get a proper ingame lobby from PGI it should be a nice thing, if it is used by enough players.

Could definately be interesting for competitive groups.
