When stripping a mech of its components (DHS, ammo, whatever), the game does not always remove the equipment internally. So what occasionally happens is that when it comes time to checkout, the game "panics" thinking you're doing something illegal. What happens is that a component, whether it be weapon, ammo, or even engine, is not "cleanly" removed according to the game... thus causes the problem.
This also INDIRECTLY affects the Strip Mech function as well as it fails to strip all components when the command is used.
It's almost as if one particular transaction is randomly "forgotten", causing this behavior to occur.
I wish I had a video, but it is happening on occasion.

I've been having a similar problem since this morning - it used to happen occasionally at first, but now I can't change any of my mechs loadouts. Video of the issue below:
