Wang. I run it with an AC20 just because I can. 2xUAC5 is probably the better loadout though.

hunchback with speed tweak and a 260 is pretty zippy at 92 km/h, although at 3 tons of ammo you better not miss.

I highly recommend using a lower engine (225/255) and putting on some armor. You'll still be the fastest AC20 out there, but actually have a chance to survive a hit.

82kph with an AC20 can work. HBK-4G. Just need Speed tweak and you're good to go.

My fav AC20 mech at 80+ tons is the Victor 9S. I love the victors in general and while the PPC + AC20 combo has been nerfed, you can still use it quite well or use a more traditional loadout with SRMs, MLs and the 20.

I used to run this loadout.

I've seen AC/20 in a Raven, though it was not a seemingly serious mech. It has to sacrifice a LOT to fit the big gun.

It's only slightly more doable in a Cicada, and again the mech sacrifices a lot to fit the big one.

There is a Champion Blackjack, I think, that runs AC/20. Not a bad idea, as that's basically a lighter fire support mech. With the 235 XL engine, it's not exactly SLOW.

But the 50-ton mark seems to be where the AC/20 starts to become reasonable. One HBK variant comes stock with an AC/20, and two more can fit it. Yen Lo Wang used to be a vicious mech with the big one. Going up another step to 55 tons, you've got some more options in the Shadow Hawks. AC/20 2xML with JJs and decent armor? It can be done without sacrificing too much speed.

The FASTEST? Not sure. If you're willing to strip a BUNCH of armor, then probably YLW or a Shadow Hawk. The latter is a pretty popular chassis these days.

Shadow Hawk is slow because of the side torso hard point, the largest engine it can run with decent ammo is like a STD280

Yen Lo, HBKs, Firebrand, Ravens, Blackjack are all faster than it.

The Yen Lo is the only one that can break 100 with an XL and speed tweak

I'm planning to run a much smaller AC most of the time, but going 140 KPH with a 20 just sounds like fun. Haven't played a ravencannon since CB though, so I'm probably remembering them through lagshielded glasses.

Yen Lo Wang: Run really fast with AC20! Downside, people focus that arm.

Jagermech: You can run double AC20s and be pretty quick. It's never occurred to me often to only put a single AC20 on a Jager. I rarely if ever see that in the field either. I guess it's because a Jager just begs to be outfitted with AC40. I've tried an AC20 in one arm and an AC10 in the other. Maybe mess around with a single AC20 and only energy weapons. Could be interesting.

Blackjack: Never owned one but you can find a couple AC20 builds here and here

I had a ac/20 in a mech once took it out after a few hours why? Its the first thing that always got targeted.

Sometimes you run builds as insane as mine.
But mine has more armor. Significantly more armor.
