How do I convert XP to GXP and where do I find it?

Go to Skills. Select a mech you own with excess XP. The conversion menu is in a small box on the left side of the screen; a yellow button that read "Exchange XP".

Note that you need (real money currency) in order to convert XP to GXP (It is a time-saving convenience service, so it costs money)

I would only recommend doing this in the case that you have completed the MASTER skill for a given mech, but are continuing to accrue XP in it. And even then, wait for a sale. Occasionally, there'll be a 50% off sale on XP-GXP conversion. Feel free to stockpile that mech XP in the meantime and take advantage of the better conversion rate at a later date.

For instance, right now (18-22 April) there is an Easter sale with a 50%-off XP-GXP conversion.
