Noticed how we sat on 90% for phase 1 forever, and as soon as a Timber Wolf screenshot was shown the money poured in to reach 25% in phase 2?

That is the hint.

Actually, when they announced the TW they were at 10% into phase 2 and it didn't budge from that until AFTER they released more screen shots, after the initial ones. Even then they only reached 25% recently. So it's not like it made such a huge jump as you claim. What would really start selling things is a hardpoint list for each of the variants and more information on the clan tech. Edit: plus the modules and more info about the gold mechs (still don't know what variant they are).

I even called PGI on it in that thread:

Saber we do know which varrient the Golden mech will be since it says it on the page as the prime varient. the information we realy don't know about is what the other configs (Varients) we are getting for all the mechs since they bring most of the other weapon systems

reason i haven't commited to more than a uller pack is what is my money buying me? we don't know the weapon values, the configs have that subject to change on the artwork, we're still up in the air about what omni pods will be functional wise as well as the faction tab {will it get us our clans vs IS or will it be dropped at the last moment like hardcore 1pv only and we're all mixed teams?} what will the game be for clanners? no word supporting or discounting conclusively stuff like 10vs12 and c-bills or honour points. warhorns are romoured to be heavymetal style modules and what are the unique modules? the art, just revealed is homologenised with IS style builds so you either in the love the MWO camp or you hate the lack of clanner design language camp.

simply too many questions lack of positive motives to warrent spending that money.

In the second dev vlog they were pretty certain it would be 12 v 12, and that anyone could use the mechs at any time. No limiting the use to any faction. Period. They don't want people to not buy something because they cant use it in certain circumstances. Hence why the need to nerf it to IS levels (not saying its a good thing, simply stating the facts).

Actually, we don't. Check the clan page again, no where does it say what variant the gold mechs are. I also stated in my post we don't know what the other variants hard points are. The primes that are listed are listed as "subject to change" so not even solid.

this is confirmed for the public queue but there's rumours of a faction queue allowing all the "fluff" limitations but it'a all talk, nothing substantial and with the 3pv debacle it's really hard to say what you're really paying for. we're not talking about a cheap takeaway we're talking about a few hundred or a couple complete games... still worth it considering what game we have?

They also say that they will monitor it blablabla and may go to 12vs10 if they deem it necessary. I really hope Clan Omnies will be slightly OP so that they may bring the numbers to a more canonic situation. If nothing else, i am fed up of being part of a "lance". My Clan training told me we use Stars and i want to have that feel :(

Totally feel ya there. I hate the 4/4/4 system with a passion. 5/5 feels so much more natural....

Well actually the 4-based system often makes sense (think to Battlefield - 4 classes, why now 5 men squads in BF4?) but i can be as much as a Inner Sphere freeborn as you want but i am now a Clan warrior and i feel we need our own military structure created so many years ago.

They may want to play with lore, but think if someone made a Star Wars game where every Jedi has a red lightsaber or their classic clothes: it would be very annoying quiaff? Sorry but when you base a game on an already existent universe you -must- make the players feel like it is a good and faithful representation of that universe. Do i ask too much? :(
