I am now Into the second month with the PHD and just wanted to give my honest opinion for anyone looking for a group.
If you are looking for a unit I would highly recommend PHd. Since being part of this really great unit I have learned a hell of a lot about MWO and feel I am a better pilot for it. There is always a load of people on team speak ready to drop or give advice / training sessions and a great mix of nationalities. You must possess a sense of humor to survive and there are some right characters (you know who I mean). So since joining I have found my niche as a light pilot. I really cant find anything bad to say about PHd and want to extend my warm thanks to all the guys in our unit. Best part for me is that it is very relaxed and there is no "Military style" rule , just lots of fun and a hell of a lot of experienced people , really it is scary the stuff they know and the tweaks they can advise to turn your Mech into a true fighting machine. So join up today and I promise you wont be disappointed.
