Preorder the Summoner Now! http://www.mwomercs.com/clans

  • Built as a fast, mobile platform for heavy weapons

  • Simple but versatile weapon loadout.
  • Good for playing offense and defense, most common among the ranks of Clan Jade Falcon.

Weapons and Equipment

Equipped with a powerful 350 XL Engine, giving a top speed of 81 kph, and five Jump Jets, the Summoner is fast and highly mobile for a 70 ton 'Mech. It carries 14 Double Heat Sinks, enough to handle its heat buildup in most conditions and configurations, and it’s protected by 9.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor.

In its primary configuration, the Summoner’s loadout is powerful, yet simple. Its primary weapons are an ER PPC backed by an LB 10-X Autocannon for direct fire, and these are supported by a single LRM-15 launcher. Though its primary configuration may have a streamlined weapons loadout, other configurations see the Summoner carrying more weapons into battle.

Primary Configuration:

  • 1x ER PPC

  • 1x LB 10-X Autocannon

  • 1x LRM-15

Hardpoints:

  • LA: 1B

  • LT: 1M

  • RA: 1E

Hmmm mighty tempting, bubble cockpit was a surprise though. Good work so far.

Looking good! I was afraid the legs would be too chunky but they look perfect!

Elbow connections give it an unfortunately broad frame from the front, but it's also surprisingly thin from front-back. Will be better to corner-shoot much of the time to avoid displaying the entire mech.

Can't wait to see then run at 88+kph after speed tweak :(

Wow the lack of hardpoints...with clan Nerf this thing is going to get destroyed I think. The Mech looks good

You guys REALLY need to release info on clan mechs weapons etc.

Hmm, so far my favorite design that they've released. I might even say tempting...

The Griffin cockpit bothers me but it looks good otherwise. I was really hoping it'd get a hardpoint buff cause it's fairly limited if staying in prime config. Really wish they'd release other variants hard points already, tis scary stuff.

If cERPPCs do 15 damage as they should, Gauss + cERPPC should be all you need.

And I believe they mentioned the armor value will be adjustable, as the stock armor value on this mech is very low compared to other mechs in the same weight class.

Considering my faux Summoner TDR has....3 weapons and works pretty well, Im sure the Summoner Prime will be just fine :(

Been liking what the clan mechs have been turning out so far and am glad this, probably my favourite mech, has turned out looking great too.

None of the traditional variants carried many weapons, but tended to have some big ones. Alt A had the Gauss rifle, Alt B has a nasty pair of clan LRM20s and my personal favorite the C (and one they BETTER have) brings the vicious clan UAC20 to the table.

But they will do 20 heat or have a 7 second cool down to balance it. Remember all clan weapons are meant to be equal to IS, so an ERPPC and guass only build...haven't seen many of those.

ERPPC+AC20+LRM 15. Not the most firepower, but I can definitely see it hurting people. With JJs, it can be a mean mech to handle.

Yeah, like I said thought, with the clan weapon balancing those builds aren't all that powerful.

You won't get an AC20 in there, LBX10 weight is much lower.

Remember you can't swap engines.
