The Skjaldborg is in, match #6 against 'The Dire Wolves'. I think we're the only FRR unit represented, though I may be mistaken.

Will you be streaming it? If so, where can we watch?

I think Oosik Irregulars are nominally FRR, they don't interact with the other units much though.

I'm pretty sure the matches will be streamed on IGP's Twitch channel. NGNG has been playing around with streaming some recent competitive tournament matches using PGI's 3rd person ingame cameras, so it'll probably look a lot like the coverage of the Launch Event tournament.

Well we didn't win...but I'll be honest, I thought that if we lost, it was going to be a landslide.

But it was pretty damn close, and we fought hard. Only a lance of enemies survived. It was a good game, and I really couldn't be prouder of our performance given our non-meta builds and less-than tryhard attitude. Tbh, that match was the first time we had gotten together as a full 12 players to play our strategy.

And that was a freaking beautiful Shieldwall.

I was happy to have participated. Winning would have been better, but I had fun ^.^

This is a FRR Government sanctioned Multi-unit force that shall be deployed under the direction of the KungsArme High command. Renumeration for participating units has been approved by the Riksdag.

Yeah I'd be interested in playing in an FRR Special unit. Depending on timezone, I'm in Australia so I often sync up better with the European players than the NA except on weekends.

Could easily come up with a storyline to fit this.

'With nearby planets HPG's going dark for unknown reasons, many FRR units have holed up on their home planets defending their families. It is in times like these that the various Hersirs, Huskarls & Thegns of the FRR band together and pick any available Mechwarrior to go out there, find and fight whatever the threat is to our home space.'

Ninja Edit:
@ SoR: That certainly was a interesting fight to watch. I've never seen such a tactic used in the tunnel. Definitely was a great Shieldwall of 'Mechs. And when they found you was one hell of a close in brawl.
Well done

Well done

Teams will often do this if they want to avoid getting shredded to bits by 30-point meta fire in open areas. Whether it's successful or not really depends on the discipline and skill of the players. From personal experience I've never seen it work. But yes, interesting move from SoR's side.

A team of FRRs dedicated to the preservation of the FRR!? Count me in! I am regularly available most nights starting about 7pm Pacific. I'm not terribly active on our forums, but I am in game more than a little bit. Currently I've been running the 12 mans for the Isengrim in Mech the Dane's absence, and my primary loyalty belongs to my home clan. However this is for the greater good of all the space vikings!

If I'm around, and not already committed to my team, I am ready to hold the FRR flag for us.

This sounds like it could be really fun! I bet we could probably field a couple of FRR teams with the available pool amongst the groups. I know for sure if one Skjaldborg will be there, it's a safe bet I'll be there! We run in-house and participate in smaller tournaments as well, so as long as there are no conflicting events with my company, I'll throw my hat in the ring.

Is it weird to anyone else that the Ghost Bears really want people who don't want to join them (us FRRers) to join them?

I've never understood it. Do they need our help or something?

It's a storyline thing.

The Ghostbears are a Warden clan which means they don't want to wipe us out like the Crusaders (eg wolf and jade falcon), they want to protect us.
In the established Canon The Ghost bears took much of the FRR territory, Captured Many FRR pilots and made them Bondsmen. They treated them well (compared to other clans) and many good FRR pilots became GhostBear Pilots.

Edit: and as a player of MW2: ghostbears expansion. I want a Kodiak.

CGB has a strong sense of family, as does FRR, so we're alike in that respect.

I hope you clammers realize that the game isn't going to just hand you victories and FRR territories, you are going have to fight us real life pilots of the FRR to make actual inroads.

You may find yourself on a nature preserve somewhere as a protected and endangered species. It is known.

Today I can proudly say the Partisans represented, well done all! It seems to me like a lot of us are able to meet in the mornings U.S. EST. Not sure if that's just because of the Clan mech release or a happy coincidence - at any rate, it was fun.

Hej,

I'm up for taking part in pretty much anything. The community side of MWO is the only bit I haven't really tried yet, which I guess is a bit lame after over a year.

I'm a medium pilot, specialising in the Trebuchet. Tell me where to sign up, I'll take part in anything.

That's good to hear! I've PMed you our Teamspeak server along with some helpful time frames of when our player base is generally on.
