I think we would have trouble getting 15 for it in Houseliaovoice.com so I am glad to see some solid representation in Liao flavor, although, Smokey the noob busting Jedi would sure like to attend, and possibly support/slay his way to glory with said unit........*wink wink*

It'll just be a 733C/DS/3D jump snipe arty fest. Doesn't quite interest me. Just look at what a "meta" 12-man does to a non-meta 12 man (just go to the end of the video )

Thought to be honest, it also gives a clear indication of the advantage voice (STILL not available in game) and a team have over those who don't.

I think the vast majority of groups are mercenaries and Davions.

I think a way of starting to get things off the ground is to get people together on the same time zones. Pool them together and then find a way for them to communication (TS or otherwise). I myself am on roughly 7 - 9 EST weekdays.

Here are some videos from round 1 of the tourney already. Basically just as anyone expected. Lots of DS/3Ds/7F + arty spam. Surprised that I didn't see many 733Cs. There are not-all-meta teams moving to round 2, but they also played against mixbag teams as well. I saw at least one team bringing a Quickdraw. They obviously lost.
