I've been hitting these forums since last Thanksgiving. There has been a lot of new information put out there regarding development, plans and application.
The main page appears to be insufficient to the needs of the new fans following Operation Inception, if the angry newbie posts are to be believed or even understood.
I know you guys have a lot on your plate right now, AND I LOVE IT! But please update the 'Game' section of this site with up to date, easy to find developments. With the release of the Founder's, it is now vitally important. System requirements are a must - new members are really put out because they can't read.
I love you.
I mean Thank you. I am sorry that it's awkward now.
It is time to summarize the developments.

I can't disagree that an update would be helpful, but the "angry newbie posts" will be with us always. That's why they're noobs: they're lazy, they don't read, they don't even search the forums.

I'm inclined to agree. The site as it exists now is not super-informative. It takes a while of cruising the forums to get up to speed.
The game section should have:
1. Game format description (matches, objectives that sort of thing)
2. Founders pack info
3. System specs info
4. Links to all gameplay videos
5. Links to all released information in terms of tech trees, pilot skills, etc.

I have to be honest. I am relatively new to MWO and I am having a hard time finding info on this project. My biggest gripe is that when I search for something in the forums, I keep running into contradicting comments. It would be nice to have access to Confirmed info in one location. I still have no idea what the difference is between the different chassis variants... I'm not sure if that hasn't been released yet or if I am just being dense.
So, in short, it might be nice to list some common stuff that hasn't been released or confired yet as well. Maybe a sticky comment that is updated somewhat frequently. BTW, I am not volunteering for the job because I am a noob

By my definition, you may be new, but you're not a "noob". Welcome to mwo. Have you found the mwo wiki? It's not official, and they don't have everything, but it's sourced from official info, and so far it seems to me that they do a fair job.

Thank you very much Jost. That is what I was looking for regarding the variant loadouts. Now I can finally decide which Founder mech I'm gonna pick when I go Elite! I am really looking forward to how MWO develops as time goes on.
