Can you PLEASE get rid of the white blank screen that flashes while navigating through the forum?

Every time you click on a thread or section or whatever and the next page is being loaded the whole page turns WHITE.

Its so freaking bad for the eyes people, EVERY other website in the world got this fixed except you.

I'm so far, I'm closing my eyes everytime I click on a link so I'm not presented with the white light of death every time.

Why do you even have to load up the whole page again on every link? Ever heard of AJAX?

Chrome Browser
Win 7 Pro 64bit SP1

No white screen for me. Old Flatron wide 2.5 ms refresh IIRC. Zero flash between pages? Faster computer maybe?

I can't reproduce your problem either.

Do you have any more information available?

It does not happen in Firefox for me. Only in Chrome.

I looked around and it seems the problem is known with Chrome

see here
http://thesis-blogs....-google-chrome/

and here

Google Docs bugreport:
https://productforum...ome/IjE_pciGpL4

I'll try the tricks but you should look into it and see what can be done CSS-wise to change this please

Greetings all,

Just a question, what is the normal background colour of your browser?
- Or the desktop, as it may pop in while the browser freshens the new page.

- If it's a white default, that may explain the screen redraw flash.
- If you can change it to a default black of dark grey see if that makes any difference.
