I've been on a few 4 man drops with other Liao pilots asking for advice on how to play lurm boats. So I've captured a video along with tips for pug games that might help out. PM me for link.

Why are you not simply posting the link?

Maybe you should post the link/video for everyone to see and give tips out for new and old players

I also didn't want to get into a forum debate which always happens with guide threads. I'd rather have people comment directly on the video. Regardless of your faction though I'm happy to share it via PM.

Last time he posted a link, his forum post was deleted because of the "Name and Shame" policy, the video caught someone who was being a douche. Wasn't the point of the video, but it was there.

Mind you, "how to LRM" changes for the worst after this patch with the new modules.
Quite possibly to one word. Don't.

I will say this much- right now, people are derping around in Clan 'Mechs.
They aren't paying much attention to modules. This just means I get higher scores, as they take longer to die under a hail of missiles.
Radar deprivation for me, meanwhile has worked out rather nicely. Being able to vanish going around corners or behind hills instantly skunks a lot of incoming missile launches. For me, it's been worth it, ON an LRM boat.
Clan 'Mechs also bring their unique flaws to LRMs. The Dire Wolf and Warhawk have "roofs" that soak up LRMs straight to the CT like magic- and the Dire Wolf also has it protrude far enough in front that you can catch one with weapons fire before it even clears a corner, if you're on the ball.
