A Warhorn is a mounted cockpit item that has a physical representation in your cockpit. When you destroy another Mech on the battlefield, the Warhorn will sound to all nearby players. The Heavy Metal Hero Mech has a built-in Warhorn that is overridden with the sound of a mounted Warhorn.

Are those modules unique and unable to be purchased any other way?

If so, it's the first pay to win thing I've seen in MWO, and it's a sad day.

They already stated the modules will be released for all Clan pilots for Cbils. Its not pay to win. Its pay to get stuff before others. >_>

Seriously ? Warhorns will broadcast those annoying sounds to everyone in hearing range ? It wasn't so bad when it was restricted to one fairly expensive Hero mech. Brace yourselves for warhorn spam :(

...

I'm trying to find something constructive to say here...

Here goes, if I choose to mount those things in my cockpit, I would be the only one to have to deal with them.

The adorable monkey is well worth putting up with it screaming every time I kill something. Will be hilarious to be known as the screaming monkey.

The ones you get in the pack are the same as you can get day 1 for c-bills. The only difference is that these ones have a unique effect or something only avail in the pack that is cosmetic

I would like to request a MUTE button for the warhorns in the Audio Settings, please! I want to hear pew-pew, dakka-dakka, and wub-wub noises, not those godawful warhorns.

Nope. Just like the Heavy Metal. Everybody has to put up with it.

I would still like to see a video showcasing all of the Clan mechs that we have purchased. It is just a week away and we have not seen the beautiful mechs in action. With the Founders and Phoenix pack, there was a video for them. It would be nice to see videos of our fav Clan mechs in action.

If they weren't available for c-bills, I might agree with you on this one.

Pressure chamber and Isobaric are my fav, but they will prob get old fast.

The narc and ams modules could be really useful in team play, now we just need dual ams and ecm for the kitfox.

QFE!

I am curious what the Gatling Horn will sound like. Here's hoping for Blain's Minigun from Predator! :(

Edit: Ahh nvm, just noticed the link to sound cloud. Didn't care for the Gattling Horn. Now I want one to sound like Han Zimmer's 'Bwong' sound from all his films. The Yardsale seems to be sort of a substitute for that. :D

That video will be released after June 17th to help boost sale numbers.
