xeromynd : Fun one, really think you should drop 1 ton of AMS ammo and move the BAP though. A Locust shooting a Flamer out of its mouth is just too good to pass up especially face-hugging LuRM boats in 3PV.
Tiggo Bitties : a question before I or preferably you name it, does it use 2x4SPL groups in chainfire, or alphastrike?
I fire all 8 in group 1. when i get a little hot group 2 fires 4

Tried this out the other day, was great for some good fun. Totally inspired by B33f's video here ()
Basically, get right up on their LRM boat's ass/legs and sit there while your AMS chews their missiles before they even get past 100m (don't shoot the LRM boat or they will notice something funky is up). Tag him for extra fun. Works best in 3rd person view.
Put the capture accel. module on it and you're actually good for something else too!
You can not run that mech, and the video was made before the lrm speed boost, just a lil fyi

Max effective range is 270 meters. Great for chewing up medium and light-heavies, but wow...

At best, that's a 30 pin point Alpha. Lasers are not pin point weapons, target and shooter movement will throw it off, lasers usually spray all over the target, and frequently blow some of their damage into the sky with a "partial miss". And you can't charge more than 2 Gauss at once.
Also, that's NOT full armor, you've stripped the legs to a bit over half capacity.

On top of that, it's not really a troll build, it's a mostly practical Direwolf, with long range sniping and closer range brawling abilities.
A trolly dire wolf would be more along the lines of: Twatawulf - DWF-B
Or even Toasty Wolf - DWF-B

But with 4 modules: radar derp, seismic/sensors, arti and air strikes and run like the wind into enemy team
wanted to put ac20 raven, but its more practical than troll.

In a similar vein, I composed the T-Back, a similarly half-pinty Thunderbolt, the Hawk Triumphant, a Shadow Hawk with the speed and armament of a basic Victor, and the Lord Bravery is an AS7-D on a tonnage-only diet. Little Master doesn't quite succeed at being a 50-ton BLR-3S, but it's about as close as you can get, with one less laser and standard instead of pulse models.
When I was skilling Cicadas, I saw the arm-mounted weapons on the 2B and decided to put frivolous things there, resulting in the bemusing Firebug.
Scrag was my favorite of the Commandos I skilled in, proving remarkably effective with the flamers in one chainfire group and the SRMs in the other- before the SRM fixes.
That's it for 'mechs I either haven't uset notably or didn't keep.
In other news, the QKD-4G Longshot makes a startlingly effective fire-support machine, particularly with the seven jump jets to get it up into high firing points other non-light 'mechs can find impossible to reach. A touch frail, but with careful use of the shoulder mounts and various peeking tricks, surprisingly valid.
CTF-1X Thresher apparently looks to most people like a horrendous mess but is actually an alarmingly doughty and enduring fighter in both deathballs and long-range situations. I really really love my Thresher and I won't trade it out for anything. So nyah.
The TDR-9SE Greast is just a big fat slow Jenner... and somehow it works. I can't explain it, it just is startlingly effective.
And those are just three of the ones I actually use.

I present, the Dire Revenge!
6x UAC2's w/ 6-tones of ammo.
4x ERML's
2x Flamers
(before you say anything, those flamers DO come in handy.. their the sole reason why i killed an Atlas that charged me one day.)
Set the UAC's all on one fire-group, and just 'tap-tap-tap' the fire button. Can generally fire a good 4-6 seconds before heat becomes an issue.
