The standard Imperial titans range from 14 to 33 meters, while rare Emperor titans are around 55 meters tall. Battletech mechs are 10 to 20 meters tall, so there are definitely titans that scale well with the mechs.

Warhound Titan vs Timber wolf?

Warhound has a void shield to bounce lesser attacks (armor 12 will bounce the lighter weaponry, even Clan. The Large Lasers and PPC's can probably get through). Then you have the actual armor which is not ablative. Titans tend to be armed with Titan Killing weaponry, so they tend to one-shot other vehicles of similar size and obliterate anything smaller than themselves. Accuracy is a problem, since most imperial pilots hit only 50% of the time, although the neural interface might give them a 66% accuracy rate.

The Timberwolf would be more accurate and mobile but if it didn't get the void shield down, it would be over after a couple of shots.

Also, Superman is SO OP that he has to nerf himself just to keep from feeling bad for everybody else
