....units that show some forethought in lance configuration and unit tactics. Not just 3 Victors and a 3L or whatever the clan version of that is, but units that integrate mechs of a 4 man to complement each other and work upon tactics, oh and actually talk to each other.

That is an awfully good question, Cutter.
I can honestly say that there are a few units at ts1.housesteiner.com that are working on just those things.

Hmm you should try Skye Rangers. The guys are awesome, and you have a wide variety of regiments (depending on play style), to choose from, it's also a worldwide unit that is active 24h a day, with lots of friendly people.
