Interesting.... Anymore, I dont have a lot to say. It must be that old age has mellowed me. However, some of the posts here have caught my attention. I will start with; it is good to see so many old HH back together and its great to see the new guys getting into the game. Of course, there are those who have no business wearing the <HH> tag who seemed to have crawled out from whatever rock they were hiding under just waiting for a new forum to call home. You know who you are. If it were up to me, which it is not, especially after nominating my brother Aahz for Command (and oh by the way, this is a game so...), I would have nothing to do with the scum who destroyed what once was my home away from home. If there are any inquiring minds that want to know the real history, heck, feel free to ask. I would be more than happy to sit down with you and provide my perspective.

To put an end to the confustion - We are NOT all "Head Hunters". There isnt one team, there isnt one chain of command, there isnt any synergy between the two units. There are two teams posting on the same thread within the forums. Two different groups with some new folks who are confused. There is HHoD and HHGD. Take a look at the tags. The folks who carried the name forward through Solaris and 3025 are wearing the HHGD. We have our own web site http://www.hhgd-affs.com but most importantly, we represent the few who lived the HH code of conduct. As insane as it sounds, we actually believed that it meant something.

For those returning <HH> veterans, please take the time to ask the hard questions, then make up your mind on what is right. HHGD welcomes the opportunity to fight along side of you for Davion. As for you new guys, I only have a couple of things to say: 1. If you are fighting along side the leadership of HHoD, watch your back, you may find that one of them is about to put a knife in it. 2. If you are online to have FUN, want some in game structure, role playing, belive in honor, loyalty, a true code, no drama and treating others how you would like to be treated - and oh ya, did I say have Fun, then check out HHGD.

Open beta will soon be here. Then full release. Hopefully, the game we have all waited for will soon be a reality. As we move forward, one of my favorite quotes from Sun Tzu "Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories."

Well BE, you are getting to be the post expert, how was that for my second post???

Hey T.... welcome back !! Thanks so much for airing your/our dirty laundry out here.. I had hoped possibly the past could be left behind...but alas some cannot let go.. All i'm going to say in response is, you being an a$$ just like this is what brought you to where you are today.. you have a nice day now and i hope you enjoy your newly reformed regiment and this new game ! At least Aahz was civil and cordial about it, and I thank him for that.

To all other HeadHunter pilots, T91 is correct about one thing...there are two HH regiments now..and returning pilots from different eras as well as new pilots are encouraged to join whichever they prefer. HHoD or HHGD. This IS a game and we are simply going to be playing it. The soap opera is over. Others may wish to bring up the distant past and stir up drama, but I am not going to be one of those people. Don't have the time or energy to fight anywhere but in a mech anymore.

Out...

To put my two C-bills in, I don't remember what happened, but, with this post coming from one of the leaders of HHGD, I'm surprised about this, because this right here is against the code. This is NOT honorable and this is CERTAINLY drama. Let alone this is not very loyal to a members of House Davion, let alone people you use to drop with and were watching your back, whether they were part of what happened or not. I really didn't know about HHGD and if I had and saw this post, I would most certainly have turned away from HHGD and joined HHoD.

For what its worth Rhyus, I doubt you have a clue as to what I was talking about since you didnt ask me or one of the other guys who were dumped on. But hey, I will be more than happy to discuss the truth with you.

You dont need to talk to me about honor, house loyalty or the "team" that was watching my back.
1. Dont ever question my honor - or if you must, we can discuss it on the battle field.
2. I doubt you will find but a handful of players more loyal to the house than I or my senior officers were - and the HH code of conduct. Dont look to the HHoD leadership to be in that group.
3. Some of my mid-level leaders were the ones that should have had my back. Instead, they were the ones wielding the knife.
4. There is no 4.

You are almost correct that I owe an apology - to the new members of HHoD, the post has nothing to do with you and if it was percieved as such, for that I would apologize. It was letting people know that the true spirit of the HH is reformed with HHGD (by the way, it was a regiment formed under the HH long ago). The guys on the HHGD squad, they came up with HHoD name - it was our naming convention going into 3025. Stolen by the current leadership of HHoD that you see here today.

I was also letting those players know what I thought about thier leadership and providing a simple warning. As in - if the current HHoD leadership would take an opportunity to put the screws to the top leaders of their own team (which they did - no question) - they would quickly put their own interests above those who followed them. I also was letting them know that if there was ever a question, please ask and if they really wanted to be a Head Hunter, they should look to HHGD since that is where the core leadership of guys, who kept the HH alive from MPBT through 3025, resides.

Lastly, for the Head Hunters who led before me, Dexter, my recuiter, Memnoch our leader at the time I joined, Darkbringer and a few others who taught me the game and what it meant to be HH - those are the veterans I refer to. I would ask that you take the time to ask about what really went down before choosing who to drop with. I have seen some of you around. In the end, it is the HH name that was tarnished by the same folks that call themselves HHoD leaders. The door remains open for you to return to the legacy you helped form.
