Does the Hero Banshee have any compelling competitive advantage that the other Banshees don't? (Other than the 30% CBill boost.)

A 50% off of Cbill colors would be nice, unless this includes some, idk I haven't looked at the colors I dont have for a long time.
This.
I already have bought colours, plus the ones from the Clan Pack, but picking up the Basic colours at half price would be really nice, and I'd grind out the money asap for it.

I'm not a competitive player but I'd say no, as it only has a single ballistic hardpoint, and just less hardpoints in general. The La Malinche is one of those heroes that they over-nerfed to avoid pay-to-win. I've found the La Malinche works best if you play it like an Atlas: Large Lasers, an AC20, SRM6 and maybe some Mediums... but that's just my personal experience, I've had it since its release.

Yes, Colours are Unlocks, for every mech.
Camo Unlocks are just for that chasis.
Camo One-Shots are just for that mech - if you use this, you can change colours at will but not the Camo Scheme without losing the MC you initially put in.

The colours on sale are:
Obsidian Black 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Gunmetal Grey 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Battleship Grey 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Grey 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Ash Grey 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Titanium White 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Slate 250 MC (from 500MC)
Olive 250 MC (from 500MC)
Olive Drab 250 MC (from 500MC)
Tundra 250 MC (from 500MC)
Ivory Black 250 MC (from 500MC)
Midnight Blue 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Crimson 500 MC (from 1000MC)
Camo Black 250 MC (from 500MC)
Camo Grey 250 MC (from 500MC)
Camo Light Grey 250 MC (from 500MC)
Camo Dark Brown 250 MC (from 500MC)
Camo Dark Tan 250 MC (from 500MC)
Phranken Black 500 MC (from 1000MC)

Thanks. I do intend to Master Banshees once I've Mastered my Clan Mechs.

But I already have plenty of Heroes and Phoenix Mechs, so no need for any more CBill accelerators.

Wow, really? I was actually planning on buying some MC to get one of the camos and some colours, but I'm sorry it's way way too expensive. Not that I think posting this will change anything but this has soured me on the whole thing. For 1250 MC if you buy a camo it should be for all 'mechs. I seriously don't understand this and I will be spending my money elsewhere as a direct result.

On the one hand, I understand where you're coming from - I feel the same.

On the other, having bought some camos now, every mech chasis has a custom, unique skin with it, which is a lot of work, so I can also understand why they charge per chasis, even if I still think it's overpriced.

But buy the One Shots, not the Unlocks.
The One-Shots are 1/10 the price of the Unlock, so you'd have to use the Unlock 10 times to make it worth more than the One-Shots.

The only Unlocks I've got are Phranken (Locusts) bought at half price for my 5 Locusts, so the same as buying One-Shots (and I want to get Hot-Rod for them later when it goes on sale) and Polygon (Kit Fox) which came with my Kit Fox anyway.
Otherwise, all my Camo is One-Shots and will never change the scheme (just the colours).

Colours are... mostly fine, especially bought on sale...
That said, I've only bought ones at 250MC, because sod paying 500MC or 1000MC for a colour, but if I wasn't so poor, I'd certainly stretch to the 500MC colour range at half price.

I think you're right I was perhaps writing off the one shots a bit too quickly, now that I've read your post and thought about it a little the one shots work out at about 40p each which really isn't so bad. I'm just really glad I read your post before buying one of the unlocks since I assumed they would work on all the 'mechs and I would have ended up really frustrated ^^;

Yeah, it works out at around 20-30p a mech, so only 60-90p a chasis, IF you give One-Shots to all 3.
Added bonus of you can buy a different scheme for each mech, or only for the favourite of the set.

White and black discounts are always nice. If you don't have them, but like painting gundams, you might want to consider this grab deal.

I bought my first hero mech ever from this sale and am very pleased with how the "loopy bucket" preforms against clan mechs. I either run 2ERPPCS 1 NARC, 3 SRM4s 2MPLs, or 2 SSRM2s, 1LPL, 1 SRM6. Makes a great tart and brawler that can twist away most damage in the right pilot's hands. Super agile mech and a pleasure to pilot.

Buy white now while it is on sale, there is only one true white color available and it is quite expensive!

The image makes it look like a purple is on sale, but none of the colors appear to be purple. Are my eyes just bad? It's the second color in the bottom row:

The Purple is some sort of Grey I think, though it is purple-y.

If you want a cheap Purple though, Basic Purple doesn't look all that bad tbh.

Ya, I'm thinking basic purple would look the same as that grey-purple color anyways. Just have to set my mind to grinding out 1.25 mil cbills. Figure I'll do that and then wait for the good purples to go on sale. Thanks for the input!
