Well finally broke down and ordered a Splitfish FragFX Shark PS3 (PC/MAC) (Not V2013). Been wanting something so I can have analog movement and mouse for aiming. Will use the chuck for left right and throttle all on the thumbstick. I will use mouse for aiming with arms and torso. Will either use the mouse that comes with it or my Razer Death Adder mouse.

Hopefully it works well I hate keyboard based movement.

Well recieved my Splitfish FragFX Shark. Very strange to go directly from joystick to FragFX Numchuck with analog thumbstick and Raser Deathadder mouse. Best game so far first evening 5 kills and 661 damage in solo drop. Running TW with 5 CERMLs and 4 Artemis SRM4s on Canyon network. Very timid team so was up front getting the kills not mopping up so pretty good outing for first day. Not best game ever but for how weird everything feels happy with it.

To be honest I still believe the joystick maneuverability in close in brawling. Having all the controls on the one stick just make it very fluid movement. But of course terrible aiming unless with LBX and SRMs or very close etc.

Once I went with a similar setup using only the left side of a programmable gamepad and mouse for aiming and weapon groups, I never went back..

Good will keep at it. Still feels like I am trying to learn to play the drums so having very uneven performance. But only two evening so far.
