Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Well, that's not the worst, but its really really close. Its so cool that you're half android/Mech now though...!!

*tumbleweed*

Here's to the van driver being a gazillionaire. That sucks... medicine and science are full blown rocking now, I wouldn't be surprised if you can redo your leg in a few years.

Wish you all to heal as fast as possible, and you regenerate like wolverine and be back busting some mech. ;)

Grab some good books?

Recovery time can suck, though I have never been on crutches (that I remember) keeping your mind and/or hands busy can help.
(if nothing else it makes the time go by faster)

Yikes, hoping for all the best to both you and your mom.

My friend got into a bad accident and couldn't bear any weight at all for nearly three months. In that time he got super good at juggling, learned the algorithms for solving Rubik's cubes, and can now stick playing cards and bottle caps into drywall and watermelons by flicking/throwing.

Basically, what I'm saying is you too can become a Ninja Assassin.

Get well. Sorry to hear about this. Best news though, neither of you two died.

Guess we will be seeing you around the forums still.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

God bless and keep you. I pray your recovery will be fast, complete, and far beyond the Doctor's expectations.

Hope you'll be able to sit in front of a computer and have some fun during the process.

Good luck, man. I'd hate to not have someone to argue with constantly, so get better and feel better. You'd be missed if you were gone.

A speedy recovery to you and your mother! I saw on your profile that you're 17, so here's to hoping your leg wouldn't have grown much longer anyway. (unless you're like me and were a little runt that only started growing spectacularly fast at age 16).

Thanks for all the support!

Mom was discharged 2 days ago and is walking again. I am in the hospital until around Thursday or Friday. I had a blood transfusion last night and I am able to get around with me walker but I am still in slightly critical condition. I am awaiting for my Laptop to be brought to me because it has all my games and I had just bought Star Craft 2 the day of the accident (great timing lol).

Thanks again for all your support it really has given me a moral boost!

"Slightly" critical condition?? ;) Glad to hear you're up and moving around!

So what's the story behind the accident, if I may ask?

That sucks dude, I'm just glad it wasn't any worse than it could have been at 80 mph.

Prayers to you and your family for a speedy recovery! May you also be blessed with incredibly hot nurses to tend your wounds and other needs  !
