Here's to the van driver being a gazillionaire. That sucks... medicine and science are full blown rocking now, I wouldn't be surprised if you can redo your leg in a few years.

Recovery time can suck, though I have never been on crutches (that I remember) keeping your mind and/or hands busy can help.
(if nothing else it makes the time go by faster)

My friend got into a bad accident and couldn't bear any weight at all for nearly three months. In that time he got super good at juggling, learned the algorithms for solving Rubik's cubes, and can now stick playing cards and bottle caps into drywall and watermelons by flicking/throwing.
Basically, what I'm saying is you too can become a Ninja Assassin.

Hope you'll be able to sit in front of a computer and have some fun during the process.

Mom was discharged 2 days ago and is walking again. I am in the hospital until around Thursday or Friday. I had a blood transfusion last night and I am able to get around with me walker but I am still in slightly critical condition. I am awaiting for my Laptop to be brought to me because it has all my games and I had just bought Star Craft 2 the day of the accident (great timing lol).
Thanks again for all your support it really has given me a moral boost!
"Slightly" critical condition?? Glad to hear you're up and moving around!
So what's the story behind the accident, if I may ask?
