Clan Tech And Balance

Going to come straight out with it clan tech isnt meant to be balanced they have the bigger hand on the tech from the lore so why not keep it that way.

Now i know that might seem unfair for those in IS mechs but thats where you can make balance changes in the form of clan vs IS matchs as many who know the lore or have played the tabletop game battle tech clans don't march out in the same sized groups as what the IS put on the table meaning that the IS team could march out with say the full 12 mechs yet the clans would have two stars possibly which is 10 mechs ideally then it comes down to tactics and knowing your landscape to work to your shorter range and employing ambushes on the smaller clan force.

Other than this could also have clan vs clan matchs so again 10 vs 10 or 15 vs 15 if you wanted to have larger games.

As of the moment clans are not as broken as people think as clan ppc are the same as IS where on the board they do 15 damage not 10 think of that warhawk with four ppc now coreing 100 ton assault mechs from a alpha yea the warhawk probly just have damaged the internals

We are playing in mixed drops with no balance in place for the number of clan mechs on either side. The only thing this game is right now is a one time fight with no reprocussions after you hit "exit match". Clan tech is currently overpowered for the game it is playing in.
