i'm new to the game so i don't know any manual patching sites.
it seems im missing the file "fil3282D1B010014511AC186400EA3A8BF1" and i get the md5 hash error. i'v already uninstalled and reinstated the game twice.

im going to manual patch the game so i need the files if any one can help i would really appreciate it

If you have problems after the reinstall, run the repair tool. Also make sure the account you're using to install has admin rights.

Assuming you're running on Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8 (this will NOT run on Macs)...

Admin rights are special settings (the game will ask for it when you go to run the patcher and run the install).
Without them, the game cannot access specific folders to insert files that the game needs, as your computer will not allow it to do so.

The "Shield" on the Mechwarrior icon shows that the shortcut is set up to ask for administrator rights when it starts. If the game does not, there is something clearly wrong (like you're on a computer at your job's office where you shouldn't be playing it ;) ) and the game will never function correctly until that is fixed.

Here's the link to the repair tool thread. It'll check for the missing files and download them. It works a bit more reliably than the actual patcher.
