I drive a 5SPL Locust 3M fairly often. It's kind of an underrated platform. You're quite right about snipping the RT off of assaults though. Seems like the majority of mechs that have side torso weaponry store them in the right side.

for fun you should try it with 1 SRM2 and 1 SRM4. think you need to lose the 2 MLs for SLs and get a 3rd ton of ammo.

Bacon, I definitely like the idea of having more ammo, but I also enjoy the ML's range. Tough one! Will give it a go though. Thanks for watching and the build advice!
