I totally have a group, but we're down to 8 players. 4 of them aren't even officially in the group.

And even if its everything you all want, the game wont actually change at all. Youll all still be here whinging. And Ill just be sitting here, blowing up 'Mechs and having a blast. :P

Before I present you the full majesty of my sardonic, sarcastic response to CW phase 1, let me just check if I've got it straight.

Basically, we can now start guilds, like in every F2P MMO in existence. That's it, right? Guilds with officers and guild tags and some sort of guild bank account? It has no actual bearing on anything in-game, is that correct?

well at least it will be nice to know whos to whos unit when dropping mechs. Then we can know from the start screen who are meta abusers, and who are true mechwarriors that will give a good honest fight.

There needs to be leaps and bounds of content added. I'm consistently underwhelmed by the amount of material they seem to be able to handle for a patch.

Decals being added to our mechs should be ready for the launch of CW. Same thing with loyalty points and a more robust achievement system without insignificant rewards when a monetary sum is given.

Now I just need to convince everyone on my friend list to switch to CGB (presumably until a system is implemented for the Clans so we don't have to be a Merc unit) :P.

Anyway this is what i expected. I am very skeptical. They're implenting things in 'fases' with minimal content in order to release more things for their profit. As you pointed out before their paymodel is maximum profit with minimal content.

I would not be surprised if it going to take more then a year to get It fully working. With bugs ofcourse.

only if you and 11 friends each have 18.8MM CB for a total of 288MM. They explain this is to buy a dropship but have no details on what this means. Can you lose it? Do you need more to attack more planets? Can you earn your money back beyond the normal rewards?

If you don't have the CB, this F2P game is charging $600 to form your guild (based on MC to CB purchase)

We can put little logos next to our names and probably maybe possibly finally get loyalty points. There may or may not be less guild features than what you'd find in starcitizen. Probably less.

No guild banks. Nothing at all like that.

Clans were not part of the initial napkin design, as laid down back in 2012. I'm afraid you're gonna have to wait another 2 years, plus 60 to 90 days, before they'll start on clan life phase #1.

I would think loyalty points would be delayed untill we actually had faction vs faction matches. Right now, I'm likely to kill as many FRR guys as Kurita guys in any given match. Would be silly to get loyalty points for killing Kuritas, when I'm butchering my own "countrymen" left, right and center.
