Great so there's a new exploit/bug floating out there where players are considered "no pilot" and are invincible. Notice in the second pic how nobody on the other team was a disconnect?

No, turret kills come up as defensive turret. I think the no pilot thing happens when someone disconnects before their weapons hit and kill. fired by flying blind but I disconnect so when they hit they are owned by no pilot. I haven't seen anything to suggest someone is invincible but I guess it could happen. hey OP got more info for us? I've seen the no pilot killed x alerts too but never able to exactly pinpoit what is going on. if they rejoin the end score board won't show them disco, you'd have to look right away.

Maybe you got killed by a turret?

Wasn't me and no it wasn't a turret. Just pointing it out to help spread awareness.

Wish I did but I was spectating at the time so that made it more difficult. Just keep your eyes out for it.

I have seen a situation where a turret got a kill but "No Pilot" was given.

I have seen a couple times where at the start of the game there is a 0 ping "no pilot" that at some point becomes what looks like a player connecting late but not changing the "no pilot" designation. The 0 ping is now shown as a normal ping and on the teams screen all players names are present, but the mech still shows "no player" when "Q" is pressed. I have then seen enemies get killed by this player and it states "no player" has killed...

I assumed this was the result of a clever pilot's name. I never leave no pilot mechs alone anymore. I had one wake up when I passed by and proceed to relieve me of my mech's back once. Won't happen again.

Witnessed a turret kill showing up as No Pilot as well.

People jump to conclusions way too easily these days..
