The auction has been extended to january 26th. If you guys want your very own, very mediocre card game, now's your chance.

Kickstarter campaign, and a release on the Steam platform would have been a good idea from the beginning.

So any word if this game is going to be renewed? I spent 180 bux and I won't even play MWO until its refunded or the game is back online. They need to start right from scratch. Their coding was all wrong and sloppy. Unity is a way easy engine to use and can do almost anything. These guys were a joke to begin with.
Fix your damn game and stop making Canada look bad.

PGI never developed or even touched Mechwarrior Tactics. It was never under their purview.

As mentioned by Rebas Kradd, MW:T and MWO have nothing to do with each other, aside from at one point having the same publisher.

The code for MW:T is up for auction, so it's a matter of if anyone is going to purchase it. There is a chance that PGI may pick it up, or maybe some other developer looking for something to build off of. Only time will tell.

I put the odds of PGI wanting anything to do with MW:T as approximately 0.00%

Like the person a few posts up, people already assume PGI 'owes' them for the Founder money sunk into MW:T. Even if the game was ready for release - and remember, it wasn't - those people are unlikely to sink in more money than they already have. I certainly wouldn't.

Even ignoring that, while MW:T and MW:O are different games, they're likely to share at least some of the same audience, and cannibalize sales from MW:O. I can't see PGI being thrilled with that.

I wonder how much and who?

More importantly who get's the money? I hope it goes back to investors (not founders) and not into some slime's pockets who ran the game into the ground in the first place.

They declared bankruptcy, so it goes to paying off debt and all the people who had a stake in IGP.

Nice find! I wonder what fate lies in store for it and who bought the assets? I can't see PGI having any involvement but you never know, they must be looking for a new project after the PGI MMO catastrophe or 2014!

Well, companies generally don't buy the rights to a game without plans to do something with them. We probably wont hear anything about it for quite a while, though.

Oh somebody bought the rights?!
Sweet baby Jesus, there's still hope for it then!

I really enjoyed it (even though the Artstyle was questionable and it was ridden with giant man-eating bugs).

No, there's no hope for it, and it was likely bought by the chinese fishing for licenses.

Since when do the Chinese care about copyright? Resale?

Mwt was an atrocious game, you guys should just stop trying to revive it. Is better off not existing.

Oh come on.
That's like saying TT is atrocious, because apart from the very hit or miss (mostly miss) artstyle, it wasn't THAT bad,
I wasn't the biggest fan of the double-blind turns, but i still bloody liked it.

I know it's stupid, but i'm really hoping that someone who bought the game's assets is secretly working on it or at least someone decides to make a new one from scratch. Without IGP (because i'm pretty sure that's what killed it and PGI was smart to break off from them before they went belly-up)

Tell me with a straight face, that you wouldn't want a Battletech TT, fully 3D game!
