Anyone else in AU/NZ seeing higher pings after the move to the new data center? My ping has gone from ~230 to ~315, and it's quite noticeable.

Mine seemed better - around 230, used to be 250/280ish. Maybe yours is a temporary thing? You could always try a modem reboot or some other dark internet sorcery. Might help.

Yes. I was just about to make a thread about it. I was kind of hoping it was just me, since it might be temporary, but... I went from 280 ping to 360. Which is pretty much unplayable. I dropped a good 30 ping in the first PTS with the new servers, so I don't know what's going on here.

I went from 240 to 380 and modem reset did nothing and getting good speedtests....not enjoying the move as lights have become REALLY painful again :P

My ping stayed the same, but every time I turn my mech I get the weird "correction" of the direction I'm facing, like it's trying to sync me back to the server. It's obnoxious and it really throws off my aim.

Got some bad news for you Aussies: the servers moved east in Canada, which means you're going to ping worse. When they say "our non-NA customers" they mean Europeans.

Good god I hope not. HSR only barely copes with lasers from AU as it is.

Huh. It'd be ironic if their server 'upgrades' were the thing that finally made me stop playing. :P

I hope for the best for our friends "down under". I live in the midwest of the U.S and have noticed issues with lights as well. But im sure PGI just needs to settle and iron out the kinks after this major move. I really hope they fix this sooner then later. I enjoy playing with my mates in NZ/AU. ?

Moved to Eastern Canada? That explains why my ping dropped by 10 points.

I'm running the repair tool, and resetting the modem, but I don't have high hopes. For those that saw an improvement, enjoy, but for the rest of us, I guess it's time to take a break and try some of the other games out there, better supported in our region of the world...

I had 260 before the migration, 400 immediately after, and 320 now. I'm in Victoria, Australia. I sure hope these are just teething problems, ping over 300 is terrible.
