We're investigating every possible avenue in regards to ping time for our Australasia customers.

Also remember that your ISP chooses the route to reach a certain IP address; and if we trace routed your IP address we would get a route our ISP determines.

Well I would have loved to see this about 5 days ago but better late than never.

Oh and just for the records NZ and OZ is affected and you might wind up more than a few people by calling New Zealnders Australians

Australasia is correct insofar as NZ is concerned.

I'm a pretty regular player and after the server move my ping went from around 40 to 50 ms to 150 ms which is nigh-unplayable! I am living in Midwest USA.

Tracing route to 192.99.109.129 over a maximum of 30 hops
1 2 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.0.1
2 20 ms 88 ms 20 ms cdrr-dsl-gw17.cdrr.qwest.net [209.181.206.17]

4 24 ms 24 ms 24 ms chp-brdr-03.inet.qwest.net [67.14.8.194]
5 50 ms 51 ms 51 ms 62.157.250.1
6 134 ms 133 ms 134 ms 217.239.39.18
7 133 ms 134 ms * fra-1-6k.de.eu [94.23.122.153]
8 138 ms 138 ms 137 ms sbg-g2-a9.fr.eu [91.121.128.82]
9 137 ms 135 ms 136 ms 37.187.36.155
10 * * * Request timed out.
11 * * * Request timed out.
12 148 ms 148 ms 147 ms 192.99.109.129

What the hell? EU? Why in the heck would anything route through there?

I play from Australia and usually my ping was 260-280. The game plays just fine with pings close to 300.
But now it went up to 400+, now that is unplayable :o

my ISP is Telstra (the biggest ISP in AUS), routing now goes through Europe. 30 hops, through Germany and France :o   before getting to mwomercs.com at 405ms ping. In game ping is 410+

Game is simply unplayable for me. Latency increased from <70ms to 150-300+ms +the massive increase in rampant desync. Can no longer play the game. I hope this is not how it ends but for now it ends for me.
