Ok - see, that's what I thought you meant, but I still don't see why you would ever choose to do that instead of just having JSbutton 1 fire Group 1, JSbutton 2 fire group 2, and JSbutton 3 fire group three. Why make more work for yourself by changing weapons groups in between your shots when you don't have to? I just don't get it.

Do you have so few buttons on your JS that you can only devote 2 to weapons?

Once again, it comes down to preferences, not efficiency. Apples to Oranges to Grapes to Durian, hell some people like licking rusty wrenches..

I guess. If your personal preference is "gimp yourself," well, have at, I suppose.

I understand what you're saying but it just feels right to not have to use your left hand on the JS I keep that hand free for my keyboard. It just feels right to only use your JS hand to do everything and it really doesn't take much time at all to switch groups and for me it helps me keep my eyes on the screen.

Again it just feels right if that makes sense.

And if your palette is one of simplification, you also should be allowed to enjoy your pot of paste.

im pretty new, and right off the bat i noticed the lack of this function. Im sure devs or powers that be wouldnt mind if u setup a poll on this option, not that many could argue against a useful option

It wouldn't be hard for them to add this in.

Ok. Well, that's a pointless statement because Oranges are no better or worse than Apples.

Having to hit 6 buttons to do what can be done using 3 buttons is, blatantly, worse. It takes longer, and there's a lot more margin for error.

So, again. Why?

I'm not trying to say that they shouldn't put this feature in the game. I really don't care. I'm just curious - what is the point?

Actually If we have a Select Next Weapons Group then we would only have to use 2 buttons.

1) Trigger
2) Select Next Weapons Button

Most people who played mechwarrior over the years noticed this right away as well. Had this option been in I would have gotten myself out of trouble on more then one occasion then trying to fumble around with the Hat left/right.

In fact a ( realistic ) game about mecha should include macro commands config INGAME.
Yea in 3050 guess mechs manufacturers should implement this... anyway this game is 10 years late about gameplay mechanics or teamwork features.

Players can use macro but only if they know and want to use it.. Casuals just need to be rollstomp with theirs trials mechs ahaha.

If it wasn't BT universe about i will not play this game anymore like lots of others players.... Sad but true failure after failures.

There are many workarounds but they do no operate the same as the requested function.
