I haven't been following the forums as much over the last few weeks (months?), so I might have missed something about OR now working for MWO. I know Track IR support was added, but I saw some people mention using OR on MWO, but they gave no details or further explanation. Did they end up adding this at some point without any major note?

Edit: I did a search, but all OR threads I found were from 2013. The forum search function makes refined searches difficult, especially from my phone.

Greetings,

Yes there has been some discussion about that,
See here for the different threads:
http://mwomercs.com/...h?q=Oculus+Rift

The latest version available for developers is much better than what was previously marketed. But they are still refining the hardware and improving the display. The latest display is much better, going to OLED and speeding up the head tracking capabilities.

afaik it is a case of yes/no..

The game per se can use it but the HUD is messed up IIRC.

There is no official support as of this point.

Vote for Oculus Rift support +1

Would be nice because I'm ordering the Oculus DKII next week. ;)

Karl Berg in his thread ( i dont have a link to it, but its something 'paging karl berg') mentions that he is working on the Rift in his spare time.
Various forum goers with kits (myself included, Rift is amazing and i only have the first DevKit) have been trying to make it work for a long time.
