This is just for speculation only, there maybe some mechs that you may have or haven't heard of. I whittled the list of all the mechs down by the time they appeared in the source books. So if you have a mech that showed up for the first time in the 3067 books I did not put it in. Also some of these choices were mentioned in that thread.

I intentionally did not put the Warhammer/Marauder/Rifleman/Unseen/Unseen. This would include the Phoenix Hawk (both LAM and non LAM versions), the Valkyrie ( :( ) etc. For more information you can find the entire list here: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Unseen

Hm - there are some versions that won't be possible when you need 3 variants (with hero np) but because its a F2P to have 3 variants including a hero doesn't sound like a good idea.

Ostroc -> Harmony Gold Unseen
Crusader -> HG Unseen
Husar seems to be to fast for MWO 166 kph with speed tweak and stock engine

This was a hard vote since I want most if not all of those mechs. Asking me to pick between the Devastator, Zeus, and Cyclops was like asking me to pull my own teeth.

I know some of these have variant issues. Hammerhands as well as this issue. I would think that they would do something similar to what they did with the 5V, just kinda create a variant.

That was some sneaky stuff you pulled there. :o When you added the mongoose my vote changed from Wolfhound to Urban mech.

I really don't think the Caesar has a chance due to the fact that it's a streamlined Cataphract.

As a medium mech jock, I have to say, that is one sad bunch of mechs from which I have to choose.

Choices:

Light: Mongoose - I like its mix of speed and hardpoints
Medium: Dervish - could be a pretty good brawler
Heavy: Black Knight - because it looks awesome
Assault: Imp - why not another ECM assault mech?

Hussar, because i've always liked it for some reason. Like its idea and simplicity, and it looks nice.
Enforcers. I like how it looks, like how it is a jumping Centurion. The Crab is nice too though.
Black Knight is just cool.
Hatamoto-Chi because it is a rare Draconis Combine mech i like, it sounds cool, it looks cool.

Light: Personally I want the Wolfhound, though fluff wise the Panther is -the- DC mech (well, that and the Jenner, but the DCMS doesn't like mediums so they can have two)
Medium: Enforcer is a pretty iconic Davion Mech. HM to Whitworth.
Heavy: I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like the Black Knight, rare as it should be. HM to Grasshopper.
Assault: Zeus is basically -the- Steiner 'mech. Surprised it's not in already. HM to Cyclops.

Honestly, the Urbanmech probably saw a lot of action during the Clan Invasions as they are a cheap militia mech garrisoning worlds.

Urbie would make a great bonus mech for buying the package.

I seem to remember though that someone in pgi mentioned that they had the Mauler ready to go but didn't know when to implement it.

I love the Cyclops and it'd be a incentive to buy the package for me :) even if the mech itself probably would be like a Banshee with a command console lol

Although, I have always seen the Mauler as one of the paramount anti-invasion mechs but that may have been because of Mechwarrior 2 Mercs lol along with the Wolfhound, Orion and VIctor because of the Citytech book for BT

I came in late to this game so I missed Founders and Phoenix packs. I bought a summoner al la carte to get the free atlas S. I'd love to see a few more IS mech packs so I don't miss out on next years free stuff. :D

You are missing a ton of Mechs in your poll, which pretty much invalidates it as anything useful or constructive.

With lights alone you are missing:

Firefly
Flea
Hermes
Mercury
Ostscout*
Thorn

* The Ost mechs while considered unseen in early accounting are quite viable. They are already well past the original artwork, plus Alex's additional changes. I don't think they were included in the big 12.

The 5V what? If you mean the 5V SPD then it is an actual variant.

As for the 5V, correct it is not only an actual variant (with two lasers) that is superior to the 5D in TT. The 5D in TT can use 8 jumpjets. The 5V can also uses 8 jumpjets.

The 5V's center torso mounted lasers were great in that they were difficult to hit. Meanwhile the 5D's flamer was easily destroyed. (That flamer was super useful though; smoke the ground and make it harder to find you in the smoke with that fire against thermals). The 5V was simply more combat effective. No Spider has ECM however.

The Spider 5K only used 2 MGs and 1 ML.

But even so, 2 MGs and 1 ML is super effective....in TT.
