Well, the problem with the Annihilator is that it's exclusive to Wolf's Dragoons at this point in the timeline. Noone else has one. The mech was in fact one of the things which made people ask themselves "Where do they get these wonderful toys?" about the Dragoons back when they were a mystery.

I wasn't a fan of those legs on the TW, but they suit the Mad Dog perfectly. Best start saving those C-bills for when it drops. My favourite mech is also one of the best looking models too. Hooray!

The crab looks great too, I couldn't imagine how it would look based off all the old art, but its fantastic. Digging the ED209 vibe

Wow. Watching that King Crab getting pained was awesome. Not sure how useful it will end-up in-game. Looks quite vulnerable to artillery strikes. On the other hand the arms are not all that low slung and the torso mounted ballistic will be high. Looking forward to it, looks fantastic.

I can only say this about the King Crab: The old Technical Readout design was arse. Hairy old man arse. It looked goofy and crap at best. What Alex has done with it is nothing short of magic, really. Whatever they are paying him, it's not enough. I actually want to pilot a King Crab now, and that's something I never thought I would say.

It's almost enough to make me want to see Alex take on the Yeoman just to see if it's possible even for him to save that ugly thing.

What do people think of that height?

Lastly, if that's the custom skin for the reward Crab, I'll totally be fine with that.


Personally I think the height is good, just needs to be more massive/bulky/wider. Looks about the size of a T-Wolf in that shot.

My concern with with height of the King Crab is that the arms will be so low-slung that they will shoot a lot of small hills and buildings instead of enemy 'Mechs. That and they'll leg a lot of stuff with those 20s. That'll be fun.

Note the King Crab is at an angle. It will be wider.

Loved the time-lapse for the King Crab. I can't get enough of behind the scenes-type footage like that, I really enjoy seeing how things like that come about.

I also like the model for the Mad Dog more than I expected to. I'm glad they went with the shorter arm mounts for the lasers than the long barrel-like ones from the MW2 era. (Though for the record, I actually prefer the MW4 iteration, I just enjoy my mechs chunky I guess)

Also threw some cash down on the Kyoshi package. Definitely upgrading to the Hellbringer when I have spare money, that was always one of my faves playing MW2

Mad Dog was the only Clan mech I'd ever consider getting. Glad it's an exclusive item - I can stay an IS purist that way. :D

one thing I am wondering is that when the patcher finished, my inventory showed the King Crab (I) and (L) models... now the invasion one has disappeared... anyone know what happened?
