Having played MWO for a little bit of time, and gone through all the mech variations and hard points, the mech variant that has my heart is....

Atlas - AS7D "Daring One"

It was a tough choice between this and my DDC "Dire Chill".

LOL, guess it would be the 3M. But I really don't name my mechs. The only one I changed the name on was my dragon slayer. I changed it to Victor Sr. just on a bit of whimsy.

I've got three Atlas, DDC, K and RS variants that I have dubbed "The Avengers"

DDC is painted with the Sherman pattern with Red, Blue, and White. Named Captain America

K is painted with the Mountain Line pattern, Green, Green, Purple. Named The Hulk

RS is painted with the Raider pattern, Red, Orange, Orange named Iron Man.

Here's my current favorite mech. I've been pretty successful with it and at this time don't like running anything else.

My absolute favorite mech is the VTR.
I own all the variants except the DS.
And the mech looks cool as hell!

But I have all the VTRs collecting dust since their nerfs.
Wont sell them though, I still have faith they will be unnerfed.

Fave I.S. Mech has to be the Banshee-3E, 3 x AC 5, 2 x LL. I do like the Timber Wolfs as well so I would say they would be my Fave Clan Mechs but overall the 3E takes the crown.

My heart mech is my Pulyagrad (rus: Bullet-Hail), a Jager-DD and the first mech i ever bought in the game.

Ever since its introduction in the early days of closed beta, through thick and thin the CN9-A has been my ride of choice. through balance changes, and shifting meta's the 9-A has stood the tests of time when other mechs have failed me. it has earned its name, Old Reliable. including the closed beta, a pre stat wipe days i probably have close to 2000 missions in this machine

For me it has to be the Commando. Specifically, the 2D. This guy I have had since my first week in this game, and I have not sold him. I love the little rascal. Named him squirt cuz he's so tiny, and that lone ML might as well be a squirt gun.

I recently upgraded him with a badass camo spec.

The mech closest to my heart? This guy:



No matter what I'm buying, no matter what I'm leveling, at the end of the day I always come back to my beloved Nova Prime. It's not easy to pilot and it got hit pretty badly by a couple of balance changes but I still love him dearly.

The name is actually semi-random due to my Mech naming conventions. All my Mechs have the name of gods or mythological figures, with Lights getting names from Germanic mythology, Mediums from Egyptian, Heavies from Greek and Assaults from Roman.
